So I guess the NH recount isn't turning out to be much of an issue, now that HRC is still leading.

Too bad everyone made such a big stink about it.

1. It was most likely unnecessary...but ensuring voting integrity is never a bad thing.

It won't even be a bump in the road.

5. Why should the people here apologize for anything ...also the
repugs wanted it too...this is what happens when you can't trust the machines...

4. Must be a congenital brain defect for some people that they don't understand
that it has nothing to do with who won.

I hope that kind of thinking doesn't bite us in the ass in the GE.

9. A couple of things......
First, if nothing comes of the recount it will mean that Diebold scanners, tabulators and other equipment can be trusted......

....and second: I wanna see a recount of the Iowa caucuses. I saw people raising both hands. So, how can I get a recount in Iowa? Everybody says recounts are good and very democratic.

11. So far, the recount has shown...
that the machines are not 100% acurrate in their workings.

Would you be happy with a less than a 100% in accuracy if it was your bank counting your money??

Didn't think so...

13. This thread just reminds me that there are still so many...
Diebold and ES&S machines out there in all the states about to cast their ballots. We never fixed the problem, never even contemplated the problem, and now its going to eat every primary.

Except possibly in California where Debra Bowen, Secty. of State, has put an end to the machine debacle.

I guess that we will have to have recounts in every state.

16. Exactly....
Even after the hand count is completed, if some took it upon themselves to hand count a second time, the result would be different again.

There were recounts needed when only paper ballots were used, and sometimes they showed differences.

NO system is going to be 100%.
