worked. Very interesting. I sat this one out, but congrats to all who cranked up the pressure.

ON EDIT: He is apologizing for saying that Hillary is where she is because Bill cheated on her. Its a mea culpa. There was a protest and it got to him.

Let's not forget that Tweety asserted this ridiculous idea not only ONCE--on the evening of the NH Primary--but that he returned to it when the women on The View criticized him for saying it (and David Shuster made an incredibly misogynist display to lead into it). In his defense of his stupidity, he even had the nerve to say that it wasn't "opinion" but "fact" that Sen Clinton got where she is because of Pres Clinton cheating on her. How can issue a mea culpa for what he terms a "fact"?

Tweety, in short, is a fuckwad.

I think he is just apologizing so that he can make the accusation again.

I have been watching Abrams do a bunch of false mea culpas on his "Beat the Press" show after Countdown. He will talk about every other network, except what Tweety has been up to and Tweety, as the lead up to Countdown has more opportunity to arrange the Dems in a circular firing squad than any other media whore----and boy has Tweety been taking advantage of it.

Someone needs to up Tweety's lithium dose and/or put him on a shock collar leash.

Not sure what he heard or what he was told or who got on his case, but Chris Matthews just gave one of the weirdest, 'I'm for the little guy', 'I love politics', 'women rock' half-defensive, half contrite apologies I've heard in some time in the lead in to Hardball just now. It was for his recent claim that Hillary only got where she is today because Bill cheated on her.
