http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20080118/ts_alt_afp/usvote2008clintonobama_080118035019Hillary Clinton on Thursday sidestepped talk of having rival Barack Obama as her running mate if she eventually wins the battle for the Democratic presidential nomination.
Answering questions after addressing students at California State University Northridge, the New York senator said it was too early to start thinking about potential partners in the November election.
Asked if she believed Obama could be her vice presidential nominee, Clinton said she was "superstitious" and "can't think that far ahead."
But although Clinton has repeatedly attempted to portray Obama as inexperienced and not ready to become President, she showered the Illinois senator with praise.
