"Obama embodies party’s vision"
Nevada Democrats should caucus for Barack Obama, the freshman U.S. senator from Illinois, to represent them as the party’s nominee to run for president of the United States. He has the personal characteristics and political instincts expected of the person who leads this nation.

-snip-

Obama embodies the political and ideological perspectives that the party projects.
He represents the platform of political unity and workable populist economics that he and party members believe will reinvigorate the economy and solve many of the other problems the nation is facing, such as questions regarding health care, immigration, war, energy independence, the tax structure and particularly the mortgage crisis. Fixing the housing market is critical to restoring our economic health.

3. Question is - which party? Maybe the repug wing of the Democratic party, but
not the Democratic.

While I would love to be able to enthusiastically support what some seem to think he represents, every day brings something new that drives me further away from him. Of the leading three, only Edwards is still in the running for my vote come November.

This coming election represents the greatest opportunity for truly reversing the disaster of the past 20-30 years, but the party powers, in trying to appeal to the repugs and indies and god-damned Raygun Democrats, are throwing real liberals not just under the bus, but completely off the highway. We may have to start walking alongside the road until another bus comes along.

11. You know, statements like that are just plain bullshit.
Sounds just like those made by rabid RWers who called into Washington Journal to excoriate people for referring to Little Boots only by his last name and not using the office title when referring to him.

Just stop it.
