Sadly, I've resigned myself to a Clinton win in Nevada.
Congratulations to Clinton supporters, it looks like you will have a lot to celebrate tomorrow.

My hope is that Obama can at least keep it reasonably close. If he does, he can still regain momentum in SC. It's frustrating that all these caucuses and primaries happen so quickly one right after another. I think if Obama had more time to spend with the people like he did in Iowa, it would be to his advantage. Unfortunately, when time is short some peole who aren't sure just go with the known quantity, which in this case is Clinton.

1. Don't give up yet
It is negative energy...think positive, and what makes you doubt Obama?

6. Oh, I don't doubt Obama at all. We need to keep it as close there as possible.
But a win at this point looks unrealistic. Still, we need to maximize turnout to keep it close, and he still has a shot be regaining momentum in SC.

I'll do everything I can do to help, but I'm just being realistic, not giving up!

3. I have no idea why you think that.
She didn't win the last caucus state. And preferential treatment has gone to the union that supports Obama. If that doesn't give him an edge on winning, what will?

4. Evidently, Tweety agrees with you. I thought I'd missed an entire day when I heard him congratulate
Romney and Clinton for their wins in Nevada. WTF? I don't know why we bother voting.

14. Well, he fully expected/predicted Obama to win in NH, too, remember that. Can't forget the look
on his face as the numbers came in and didn't match the numbers HE had. Keep hopin' !

25. Yeah, I've been watching that unfold on the teevee. But you know, it seems to me.. and I may be
imagining things.. that everytime Tweety builds her up, her poll numbers go down. Maybe its just that people start looking at her as inevitable again and start imagining having to deal with Billary for 8 years and go NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

So maybe its a good thing that he's giving her all sorts of props right now. At least we won't have to worry about her getting the "pity" vote again, or the "media backlash" vote again.. and maybe Obama will benefit from the perception that he "needs" the votes :-)

in any polls after NH. I'll just watch it unfold and see what gives.

I think the culinary endorsement only keeps Obama competitive, but doesn't give him the same lead it would have given Hillary.

16. Ha! You're playing the expectations game there -
I have to disagree. The polls in Nevada have Hillary and Obama essentially tied. And Obama is guaranteed to get an extra boost from his coercive culinary caucuses. The Nevada caucus is Obama's to lose. If Hillary actually finds some way to win, it will be unexpected and notable.

19. You can't be serious.
Hillary has lead in Nevada for all time, and recent polls show her trending up. Reid's son controls the polticial machine there, and there is no way to overcome that in such a short amount of time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that's it will be close so it won't be spun as a large loss for Obama. Regardless, Obama has done well just to make it a race there. That's an amazing accomplishment in itself.

Sc will be where Obama has a chance to regain the momentum, after the media spins the race as Hillary 2, Obama 1.

I'm not giving up, just being realistic.

That's why people go there--they know what they're getting.

But don't get too down. If he wins SC, he gets the last win before super tuesday.

Latinos will vote en masse for her.

If he could keep it to within 2 percentage points, then I'll be happy.

Nobody knows how it will turn out in Nevada tomorrow. Any poll trying to predict the Nevada caucus outcome that you might have seen is noting more than guesswork.

So what makes you so sure that Clinton will win?

What makes you think they're right about a caucus that has never been done before in Nevada? Let's wait until the results come in before we start bending over in defeat...geez.
