On her website, Reagan is listed as one of her favorite Presidents. What do you think she admires most about him?

6. Isn't that why Bill admired Reagan?
Can't imagine that would really influence Hillary all that much.

But let's just say there's a reason why his pompador was so well slicked!

3. Well, the Clintons have heaped praise of Reagan so much, it's hard to say.
Your poll could have many, many more stated reasons.

13. Maybe she is just doing
a bit of pandering of her own.

When Obama talks about Reagan's ability to push through the Republican agenda he's pandering. :sarcasm:

Maybe Hillary is going after those Reagan Democrats by pandering too. Of course the Hillary supporters find Hillary's admiration of Reagan as insignificant. However, I find that hard to believe since it's on her damn website. :eyes:

Listing her favorite teas would be insignificant. Listing Reagan as a favorite, I would not deem insignificant.

15. Mean-spirited welfare policies?
Losing jobs to Asia? The War on Drugs? Getting Marines blown up in the Mideast?

I'm sure all that is on the next President's agenda whoever he/she will be. Let's face it: we have a slate of Reaganites in front of us.

17. you guys are so weird. YOu know what Obama said was stupid
and yet you cannot help yourself. It reminds me of the republican supporters who have protected Bush after everything that has happened. They cannot admit that he did any wrong. Nothing. They will find an excuse for everything.

BizarreO still rules in America. Through the look-glass. Obama said something stupid, and the gnats attempt to deflect / spin / distort to avoid even the suggestion that perhaps it was not the best thing he could have said.

23. Why can't you admit that what Obama did was not in his or the democrats best interest?
Why do you have to deflect away from Obama, and find something--not even related to the issue to attack Clinton?

Really? What do you think of Obama's gaff?

36. I thought it was very much in the Democrats' best interests.
Many Americans think Reagan was a powerful president, and are capable of understanding the assertion Obama made, without thinking that somehow Obama reveres Reagan's policies.

Yet now we find out that Reagan is one of Clinton's "favorite" Presidents (along with George H W Bush btw) and that's just a-ok with you?

29. How come
How come when a campaign (or any supporters) uses push polling it is considered awful and the mass media jumps on it, but when people do it here it is just fine and dandy?

That goes to all DUers not just Obama supporters.

I do agree with you, if this thread is not locked... then you have been treated unfairly and would be a sign of bias. I am sorry you feel I contributed to yours being locked. All I did was ask why it is okay (no matter who you support) to post push polls on this message board. However, at the same time, it is not okay for supporters to call voters and present them with push polls. The statement was not an attack on you.
