"Obama's a 'rock star' because his message resonates with people!"
I hate when Edwards says it's not fair because he's running against "two rock stars." Jack Cafferty pointed out that the REASON Obama's a "rock star" is because of his inspirational message, his delivery, his demeanor, sense of humor, etc. It's not like he had connections or was a movie star or anything. He (Cafferty) thinks it's wrong of Edwards to complain about having to run against "two rock stars," because Edwards was WAY better known than Obama many months ago, and was included in all the debates, and just MAYBE it's because Edwards' message isn't resonating as well as Obama's. (Caffery thinks the jury's out about whether or not Hillary's a "rock star.") I agree that Edwards has no room to complain. It's his message that's not getting the traction he'd like. And the fact that he couldn't raise as much money as he had hoped when he chose to forego matching funds isn't anyone else's fault, either.

5. He became a rock star at the dem convention
great speech, great writer. Is he going to have them at his meetings with dignitaries, or is he going to stutter through them? And, yes, I'm being snarky. I'm tired of his supporters thinking that he is perfect, and everyone else is so imperfect that they should not be allowed to run against this god.

10. N. He got NOTICED there.
He caught fire with his message. He writes his OWN speeches. Who said he's perfect? Who said nobody should be allowed to run against him? Don't blame anyone else that Edwards' new message doesn't resonate. :eyes:

9. His Reagan is next to god speech sure ...
resonated didn't it.

The price of inexperience, in depth, is beginning to show in both Edwards and Obama.

12. I agree. Billary wasn't prepared to run against Obama. The real potential first Black president
is angering the fake first Black president.
