Has Obama Ever Told A Flat-Out Lie?
We all know that Bill Clinton lies as easily as he breathes - lies about blowjobs, lies about being against the IWR, lies about Hillary sending him and 41 on world tours, etc.

Hillary is more nuanced - she usually just takes all sides of an issue so that she can tell everyone that she agrees with their position. Although she occasionally lets loose with a whopper, like claiming she was named after Sir Edmund Hillary.

Has Obama ever been caught in a flat-out, can't-possibly-be-true lie?

8. I'm not sure what you're referring to, but...
I thought he lied by saying he was defending Hillary when he said "You're likable *enough* Hillary." I might've believed him if he said it was a botched joke, that he didn't mean to sound as mean-spirited as it did. That's what I expected him to say, but he had to pretend he was actually coming to her rescue, which is utterly ridiculous, when you see the clip.

4. When it comes to honesty
both Edwards and Obama look like choir boys next to the Clintons. Bill in particular has been out-doing himself. I am sure that if Hillary wins the nomination I will manage to pull myself together and vote for her but it will take some time.

5. Yes
He said, twice, that he would serve his full term in the Senate and not run for President. Guess that makes two lies.

6. You have lied in your lifetime
I know this is true without knowing you. Be careful about judging someones personal life. Just a tip.

As to Government affairs I found Bill Clinton to be far more honest than any other President in my lifetime.

17. Carter was more honest
otherwise you do have a point and holy crap what does that say about the slime we elect as President if Bill was the most honest.

18. I don't know why
I knee jerked and didn't consider Carter. Its like I forget he was President sometimes. Its hard for me to say one or the other of those two was more honest about Government affairs. I will say that Carter was more dedicated to human rights and would take more political risks in that regard. That is how I remember him anyways. I was not a political animal in those years and my knowledge of Carter is probably still somewhat lacking.

11. You can only lie about facts.
Obama doesn't really talk that much about facts. He just kind of talks about vague ideas -- at least that's all I have heard from him.

Obama is no second coming of Lincoln.

Make that 6: When Obama ran for the Senate in a packed Democratic primary he ran against funding the war.

16. The statement that Clinton is a liar is a lie.
CW Swinney has most of Clinton's speeches on Video and cannot locate a deliberate attempt to deceive the public regarding the public's business. Not one.

He has all his state of the Union address transcripts, and many transcripts of speeches. He hasn't found a single lie in them and has challenged Republicans or anyone to -- show us one lie about public policy (i.e. a statement known to be untrue, spoken with intent to deceive) made by Bill Clinton. just one.

21. Have you ever met a politician that doesn't lie?
I think Obama is the most honest of the top three, which is part of why I'm supporting him. But I don't there's ever been a politician that doesn't lie at least a little. And they all make promises they are ultimately unable to keep.

26. He lied in a debate
about his NH chair being a lobbyist for Big Pharma. Clinton accused him of this in a debate, and he denied it. Lo & behold, his NH chair IS a lobbyist for Pharma. Obama lost my vote permanently w/that one.
