6. I hope they claw each other to death on the convention floor -- a
redundant gesture in the case of Fred Thompson -- and then nominate Romney, who will loose the swing states outright and possible anger enough of Huckabible's supporters to jump ship.

8. Romney has as much establishment support as McCain does
Also, if we are in that situation, there will be a major internet based movement to defeat McCain (Malkin, the Freepers, talk radio too) and I think it will succeed.
