Bill Clinton at MGM Grand
Bill surprises MGM Grand workers

Sources report the ex-president made an unannounced stop by the MGM Grand employee dining room this morning. Greeted like a rock star. Entourage came with Hillary buttons “I love my union, I’m voting for Hillary” flyers (Spanish and English).

In spite of repeated requests from hotel staff that they not hand them out, employees kept asking for them. Chelsea reported to be leafleting, too.

3. He's not doing all her work
he's campaigning for her, just as Michelle Obama and Elizabeth Edwards campaign for their spouses.

9. He's disrespecting the union endorsement.
I have no idea whether it's "legal" or not, but it is most certainly unseemly and inappropriate. He couldn't sue them into submission, so what the hell, right?

11. Bill Clinton failed when he by proxy tried to sue the union into submission.
But I'm sure the campaign buttons will do the trick.

32. And this 10-month old plan suddenly became a problem 2 days after the Obama endorsement?
Riiiiiight!!

The Clinton camp by proxy filed the lawsuit to suppress the vote. Get that part straight.

If Hillary does win today, I'm sure you will be the first to denounce it on the basis of voter suppression, right?

The whining from your camp is becoming deafening.

20. Electioneering within 100ft of the entrance to a polling place is prohibited
Now, the 100 ft is what is questionable. Usually when a caucus site or polling place is in a church or school, the 100 ft is counted from the entryway. But in the case of a massive, multi-use facility like a casino/hotel/conference center, I believe that would mean 100ft from the threshold of the ballroom or conference room the caucus was being held in, and not the actual entry of the building. That would be my interpretation based on a quick look at the codes.

24. Now that is the best question yet!
NRS 293.830 Betting on election. Any person who makes, offers or accepts any bet or wager upon the result of any election, or upon the success or failure of any person or candidate, or upon the number of votes to be cast, either in the aggregate or for any particular candidate, or upon the vote to be cast by any person, is guilty of a gross misdemeanor.

But I'm sure you could find someone somewhere to take your bet. Personally, though, I wouldn't. The NBA is fixed, boxing is fixed, and elections are fixed.

25. Not a felony, eh?
That might make it worth risking a large bet on the outcome, and working to beat the spread, one way or another. With a caucus system, there are so many ways.

Should the Clinton campaign just stop if the Union doesn't endorse her.

18. So when a union endorses, the other candidates should just give up?
The OP doesn't refer to Bill Clinton doing anything other than campaigning for his wife.

19. The unions are not God. To act like their endorsement somehow
requires their members to follow their leader's endorsement is voter intimidation and should not be praised, or tolerated.

The possibilies for Comedy are endless. When they ditch caucuses after this fiasco they can convert the slot machines into temporary electronic voting machines for the primary next time.
