The Empire Strikes the Culinary Union... oh, and Bill Clinton is lying again, surprised?
Edited on Sat Jan-19-08 02:16 PM by JackORoses
Just watching a Hill Shill tell Wolf Blitzer how Hispanics only like Hillary
and there is much dissension in the union ranks.

I have seen several bloviaters (Crowley, etc.) spewing rumors of voter intimidation by union officials.

http://www.politico.com/blogs/bensmith/0108/Bill_Clinton_claims_he_witnessed_voter_suppression.html#comments

I have seen Bill Clinton running around Hotels trying to convince people to go against their union,
because they really like Hillary, even if they don't know it.
He actually said that a Union official was following him and telling people who he met that they couldn't vote.

This man has no integrity.
Bill has been lying as much as possible in attempts to spread doubt and lay the groundwork of excuses if Obama wins.

He is in full-on desperation mode.

You can't fool everybody, Bill. They know that you tried to suppress their vote. The damage is done.

1. He's not lying, the union is trying to intimidate workers and it blows.

3. the Union doesn't determine if you get off work
That is done by the Casino.

And the Gaming Industry supports Hillary, so the people should have no problem getting time off.

Bill is abusing the trust that Americans have in a former President.
He is telling lies that people will accept without looking into.

He has disgraced his Office.

14. According to the article, the union does determine who gets time off
Its says workers had to sign the union list if they wanted time off. The fact that an alternative method of getting time off was advertised shows that the union wasn't bound to get time off for everybody who signed the list.

The worker could go directly to a supervisor but a worker could be uncomfortable bucking the union, especially if the union already chooses who can go based on how they will vote.

7. Perry's Paradox: All posts by Hillarites defend the Royal Family
No matter their despicable actions.

I guess it all depends on what the definition of 'is' is?
That about right?

Taylor Marsh on her smears.

9. Clinton and Reagan and Bush
I think one good thing about Americans is that we still believe that anyone has a shot at getting to the top.

What is sad is that people in the middle and at the bottom in their effort to preserve all the benefits of the upperclass will vote for people like Reagan and Bush who make it harder and harder for the average person to reach the top. And they will hate someone like Clinton who does his best to make it easier for lower income people to improve their lot in life.

18. I was referring to 2000 when I saw so many W stickers
on the pickups of white male workers.

I will vote for Obama in the general if he wins the nomination.

However, to say that the Clintons suppress votes is not accurate in my opinion.

In my opinion, both Hillary and Bill are far more progressive than Obama is. I think that Obama will be far more to the right than either Hillary or Bill and certainly than Edwards.

That said, every REpub is to the right of Obama; that's why I will support Obama if he is the nominee.
