Robocall trashes "Barack Hussein Obama"
Robocall trashes "Barack Hussein Obama"

The Obama campaign has released a recording (mp3) from a Nevadan's answering machine of an anonymous robocall that criticizes Obama for taking money from special interests while repeating, four times, his rarely used middle name: "Hussein."

"I'm calling with some important information about Barack Hussein Obama," the call begins, before saying that "Barack Hussein Obama says he doesn't take money from Washington lobbyists or special interest groups but the record is clear that he does."

After mentioning his full name once more, the call concludes:

"You just can't take a chance on Barack Hussein Obama."

Click here to listen to the campaign's recording of the call.

7. And the Manchurian Muslim PR campaign kicks off!
If he is our nom, it is going to be "Hussein" all day every day.

That is "their" plan, don't you know. "They" have been plotting for years to get one of "their own" in this position of power so that "they" can set up a caliphate and institute sharia law. The 1993 and 2001 attacks were just to throw "us" off the path.

He isn't even trying to hide it! He won't wear a lapel pin of our flag (that many people died for), he won't say the pledge of allegiance and he took his senate oath on a KORAN!!!

.....Off we go....

12. POLITICO seems to be "wired in" to the Obama campaign.
Politico, FWIW, is run by a far right wing corporation, Albritton Communications--the people who got Bill Maher's "Politically Incorrect" show axed--for those who need a refresher. The Albritton assholes make the buttclowns at the Weekly Standard look like progressives.

In the last week, I've seen more shit here by that rightwing tool Ben Smith about "Inside Baseball" doings in the OBAMA camp than you can shake a stick at. All clearly benefitting the candidate, too, and putting him in the most sympathetic light.

Why is the right wing so eager to defend Obama, you wonder? Why are they working so hard to tout him? To paint him as the poor victim of dirty tricks? To hold his hand and call him the maligned underdog?

What's the motive?

They DO have an agenda. They aren't a "blog"--they're the rightwing outreach to those "internet people."

The fact that Tweety references them incessantly should give you a clue.

That really doesn't sound, to me, like a ROBOCALL, though it did drop to the answering machine--that sounds like a live call of some moron READING the text. He's not very professional, either. It should be VERY EASY to find out where it came from, if anyone is actually interested in finding out.

18. The Politico is dedicating to starting trouble between Democrats
Ben Smith's blog is full of reports of incidents that would make Democrats angry with each other. I believe its all part of a right wing plot.

The Politico was very involved in stirring up racial tensions.

21. Ben Smith ought to call his little turdlets "Divide and Conquer"
I wonder why, though, so many people keep posting his mendacious shit here? If we have a moratorium on DRUDGE, we should probably have one on that asswipe, too.

Let's have a look at ALBRITTON and POLITICO and "Real Clear Politics" (if THAT isn't a fucking joke--kinda like "Clear Skies Initiative" or "Death Tax" -- wonder if Fatboy Frankie Luntz came up with that phrase, too?). It never hurts to just put this shit out there every so often:

http://www.examiner.com/a-523412~Albritton_Communications_launches_latest_venture.html

Albritton Communications will launch its much-anticipated, multi-media political news source today. The Politico and Politico.com will use a multi-pronged approach — with content on its Web site, in its newspaper and on News Channel 8 — that the company hopes will set it apart in an already crowded field.

“People want their news faster and more conversationally,” said Jim VandeHei, Politico’s executive editor. “Waiting for a story that breaks at 10 a.m. and writing for the next day’s paper is over.”

Politico will generate its revenue through an advertising-supported business model, with many of the ads coming from trade associations, lobbyists, government contractors and other companies looking to attract the attention of Congress, said Albritton President Frederick Ryan Jr. in September when the venture was initially announced.

“What has interested us in this new Capitol Hill paper is that Congress is always involved in making decisions, so it’s a bit of a different advertising base,” Ryan said. “We are the only ones that will be doing combined television, Internet and print,” Ryan said. “This will be a chance to be a one-stop shop — an entire advertising strategy for a campaign.”

The Politico's "publisher, Robert L. Allbritton, 37, scion of the banking and media family that once owned the defunct Washington Star, said in an interview that he would finance The Politico for 'the foreseeable future' and has committed to paying for expensive campaign travel. He has hired a staff of about 50 people, almost half of them journalists," Kara Rowland reported January 22, 2007, in The Washington Times.

"'Newspapers have to be all things to all people,' Mr. Allbritton said. 'On the Internet, there is no one site that delivers everything. It’s broken down into mini-mini-subdivisions of interests and they attract people who are passionately interested in one subject.' ...

Allbritton "is best known for following his father, Joe L. Allbritton, as chief executive of the Riggs Bank, which was sold in 2004 after a Senate investigation found that Gen. Augusto Pinochet, the late Chilean dictator, had kept millions of dollars in secret accounts at Riggs. Robert Allbritton has been chairman and chief executive of Allbritton Communications, which owns television stations in Washington and a half dozen other markets, since 2001," Rowland wrote.

Let's have a gander at the QUALITY of their reporting--does anyone besides me see a bit of bias in their "unbiased" reportage? A few headlines:

13. Republicans often refer to him by that name
We had better get used to it, because we'll be hearing a lot more of it if he wins the nomination. Perhaps Obama should just appropriate it rather than trying to fight it -- it takes away the "dirty secret" element of it, and by using the name proudly and often it may begin to lose its appeal as a term of denigration amongst racists.

23. you mean Mrs. Clinton
More often than not, they call her Mrs. Clinton. Her full legal name is "Hillary Diane Rodham Clinton."

"Mrs is not properly used before a woman's birth name nor before a last name that differs from her husband's, such as if she has hyphenated her surname and he has not. For example, "Mrs Scarlett O'Hara" or "Mrs Scarlett O'Hara-Butler" would be incorrect."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mrs.

Being as she has kept her father's name, Mrs. is incorrect technically.

The real question is why do they not give her the respect of her earned title Senator Clinton? There is no confusion between Bill and Hillary when she is addressed as Senator Clinton.

24. Her law degree says RODHAM. She was Atty Rodham in court.
If she ever got named to the Supreme Court, she'd be Justice RODHAM. Heh, heh.

I never noticed them calling her Missus, actually. I just noticed the repeated recitation of Hillary

Rodham

Clinton...the middle name usually 'spat out' like a summer mosquito...

Of course, they'd also childishly rhyme her first name with that Shrill word. Just in case their dumbfuck pals didn't get the "Rodham" bit.

Silly bastards, really says something about them, mostly the men, but sometimes their crosseyed wimmenfolk, about how "skeeered" they are of an intelligent woman.
