33. Except MANY Hillary backers on this board
were saying the endorsement was meaningless because it was only the leadership that endorsed...and that the rank and file would do as they pleased. She should be pleased she won but her backers pre-spin takes the shine off the victory. It was not big enough to have much influence.

10. The term trounce is a bit harsh...and misleading.
Trounce would be 98%/2%.

Nuance is everything.

just to go through the motions. Hillary will be the nominee. She has the organization, she has the money, she has the momentum.

36. I don't agree that this win means as much as you seem to think.
There is still SC to consider and then Super Tuesday. And, what about Edward's supporters, if he decides he can't pull out a win anywhere. What candidate will his supporters go with?
So, this isn't a normal race. It is still to close to call it all for Senator Clinton nation wide.

13. Just like 3 points was a trouncing in NH.
It's the Clinton logic. Just as long as you say it, doesn't matter if it's true. It all really depends on what the definition of "is" is.

7. Hillary "trounces" Obama in the same way she will "withdraw" troops from Iraq.
This same time in 2012, we will still be in Iraq, which by then will be known as a Democratic war, and Hillary will be using the dictatorial powers that Bush took to himself, to spy on and repress the antiwar movement.

14. It finally occurred to me what really bothers me about the Clintons.
They act as if Hillary's nomination is an entitlement. She's entitled and, after her, Jeb will be entitled . . . it's never going to end. Change the name to United States of Clintonbush.

24. This is why I had you on ignore ...
You're constantly trying to inflame people's passions. Do you think you do your candidate any favors by building resentment??

I cleared my ignore list last night thinking I should be less reactionary to people obviously intent on creating discord ... but I see I made a mistake in your case.

32. Its just enough a victory to bring back
the hubris and remind everyone what we didn't like about them. If it had been a 4 point win they might have remained humble and had a chance. Now their imperial attitude will be rejected in SC and the rest of the country on Feb 5
