A big, warm hug to Edwards supporters from your Biden pals.
I know it's not over, so this isn't an assumption that JE will drop out.

But we know the heartbreaking feeling of watching our candidate's numbers NOT come in as we firmly believed they would. We understand the shock and that NUMB feeling when you honestly just KNOW he'll surprise the world, and then something goes wrong. We know what it's like to be so PASSIONATE about a candidate in whom you have total trust and faith.

We feel for you, and wish you and JE the best -- We know today hurt.

Former "Queen of the Edwards Supporters" in 2004. :-) This year I broke late for Obama, but I love John and Elizabeth, and actually want to see them continue in this campaign.

You know I was a Biden supporter. I don't know what to make of this primary season. I'm very disappointed all the way around. I thought ALL of the second-tier candidates were better than the two frontrunners. I don't know why I even bother to get involved -- an election hasn't gone my way in my entire adult life except for Bill Clinton -- and now, looking back, I think he fucked us over as much as anyone.

Maybe I had the right idea back in the day with that "dropping out" idea. I'm not a happy camper.

8. I would have liked to see Biden pull it off or Edwards
but Bidens out and Edwards isn't competitive. However, while not my first choices I will certainly support Clinton or Obama over any of the repubs. Thanks for your kind words!

I respected Biden, and was sorry when he bowed out, although I understood his reasons. He added a LOT to the conversation.

This is one of the nicest threads ever...thanks to everyone. (Hope some snarker doesn't come in to ruin it, just for "fun")
