6. One is the correct Spanish pronunciation and other is the gringo one.

They are both fine.

This old gringo uses them both as more and more people are doing.

We are going through these changes here in Los Angeles where street names are slowly giving way to the correct Spanish pronunciation.

I don't have a problem with either.

7. The people in Nevada
seem to prefer Nevadda. They gave Michelle Obama a hard time over it just yesterday.

Just a side - we have a town in Iowa called Nevada - but it is pronounced Ne VAA duh x(
