(A tongue-in-cheek post):

We've been hearing a lot (a little pro, mostly con) about BI-PARTISANSHIP.

Yet, as of this moment, we've seen NO bi-partisan primary tallies, (perhaps because we don't have any bipartisan primaries).

So, just for fun, here's a bi-partisan TALLY of the caucuses in Nevada, as well as 2 of it's 17 counties:

Statewide, with 98% of precincts reporting:

Mitt Romney - 22,649
Ron Paul - 6,087
John McCain - 5,651
Hillary Clinton - 5,355
Barack Obama - 4,773
Mike Huckabee- 3,615
Fred Thompson - 3,521
Rudy Giuliani - 1,910
Duncan Hunter 890
John Edwards - 396
Uncommitted Democratic - 31
Dennis Kucinich - 5
Bill Richardson - 0

Now, for a more detailed look:

County breakdown, of 2 of Nevada's counties (if you want the other 15, you'll need to do the work yourself) shows that a consolidated, bi-partisan vote tally of Storey County, home of what was once said to be the world's largest brothel,

show (with 100% of Democratic & Republican precincts reporting) quite a pocket of Ron Paul support (Perhaps his strongest county totals to date - - Not only did Paul come within 12 votes of Romney & winning the county, but Paul came within 1 vote of beating all the Democrats put together):

Mitt Romney - 67
Ron Paul - 55
Barack Obama - 30
Fred Thompson - 28
Hillary Clinton - 18
Mike Huckabee - 12 (What does this tell us about the relative numbers of evangelicals, Mormons, and prostitutes, or of evangelical prostitutes, in Storey County?)
Rudy Giuliani - 10
Duncan Hunter - 10
John McCain - 9
John Edwards - 8
Dennis Kucinich - 0
Bill Richardson - 0
Uncommitted - 0

And in Esmeralda County, Nevada's least populated county with 1262
residents, home to many ghost towns, and named after Esmeralda, the gypsy
dancer from Victor Hugo's "Hunchback of Notre Dame",

the combined caucus return, again with 100% of both Democratic & Republican precincts reporting,
show:

Barack Obama - 22
Mitt Romney - 18
Ron Paul - 15
Hillary Clinton - 9
John McCain - 9
Mike Huckabee - 7
Rudy Giuliani - 6
Uncommitted Democratic - 3
Fred Thompson - 3
Duncan Hunter - 2
John Edwards - 1
Dennis Kucinich - 0
Bill Richardson - 0

Now, if there any (and I mean ANY) worthwhile lessons to be learned from any of this, I'm all ears.

3. Seeing as Ron Paul is the only
anti-war Republican candidate, and damn near the only real anti-war and anti-imperialist candidate on either side (along with Kucinich), your comment says a lot about the forthcoming US presidency and the number of people that are still about to get killed.

2. In the interest of full disclosure
I did post this earlier. Ron Paul actually pulled in more votes than Hillary Clinton. I think his supporters should be congratulated for their efforts.
