Has Obama spoken directly about the Nevada results?
I'm not talking about his website or his spokespeople.

Has Obama himself said anything about Nevada?

Anyone have a link to him talking about it?

1. no he high tailed it out of nevada before the results were even known
He wouldn't even concede or congratulate Hillary. He gave out a statement claiming victory based on delegates.

Low class.

2. Almost as low class as the Clintons and the disenfranchisment suit...
Actually, what they did was lower than low.

4. Why are you whining about that? "The Clintons" didn't bring the suit, and it did not prevail.
Christ, your guy GOT his At Large Districts and he still didn't cut it at them.

And still, you whine.

"The Clintons" are not the candidate either. It is Senator Clinton.

How would you like it if Obama was referred to as "The Obamas" or "The Obamas and Oprah?"

Your disrespect for the candidates and the process is immature. You do your favorite a disservice with that sort of approach, too.

9. "Plueeaze?" WTF is that?
You're very immature in your approach to politics. It's a real sport for you, I suppose.

Principle? To you, it's a moronic game, apparently. At least that's what your posts indicate.

I suppose the other candidate is "Oprahbama" then?

See, that's idiotic....TOO.

The difference is, I see it, and you don't.

10. save it....
After an event in San Francisco, Obama responded to the ruling.

"We had nothing to do with setting up these rules," he said. "We simply were trying to win under the rules that had been set up. Some of the people who set up the rules apparently didn't think that we would be as competitive as we were and tried to change at the last minute.

"I think the judge was clear that you can't change the rules six days before a caucus," he said. "Any alteration would have disenfranchised maids, dishwashers, bellhops, people who work on the Strip. So, just in terms of politics, we are confident of our organization on the ground. But, in terms of policy, I think it was the right decision to make."

An Obama's spokesman released a statement that had more bite.

"We're glad that the Nevada court upheld the Nevada Democratic Party's caucus plan which encourages voter participation," Bill Burton said in a statement. "While the Clinton camp clearly believed the voices of workers should be silenced in service of their perceived political interest, they enjoyed a twenty five-point lead two months ago and have much of the party establishment in their camp. So, despite their inherent advantages we are pleased this should be a close and competitive contest Saturday."
http://www.swamppolitics.com/news/politics/blog/2008/01/obama_receives_boost_with_ruli.html

---------------------------
In the meantime....

When asking Nevada culinary workers on Tuesday to ignore their union's endorsement of Barack Obama, former President Bill Clinton called his wife the insurgent in the race - and Obama the "establishment" candidate. It was an odd statement, for nobody can seriously dispute that Hillary Clinton is the Democratic Party's establishment choice. And while UNITE-HERE, the Culinary Workers and Nevada SEIU have rallied behind Obama, hotel and casino executives are largely supporting Clinton.

In this case," said Bill Clinton at a rally in Sparks, Nevada, "the establishment organization is with and the insurgents are with her." According to USA Today, he then asked for a show of hands from 50 precinct captains in the audience and challenged them to stand up to their union's leadership. "They think they're better than you are," he said, "at identifying and getting people to their caucus sites. And I bet they're wrong."

Bill Clinton's comment - which hearkens back to when he lied about having opposed the Iraq War - is so laughable that I won't offer a detailed response. Hillary Clinton was the President's wife, and used her status to move to New York and run for the U.S. Senate. She has enjoyed wide support from elected officials ever since announcing her candidacy, and has touted "experience" as her strongest asset. Most presidential primaries boil down to an "establishment vs. insurgent" rivalry, and it is quite obvious here that Clinton is not the "insurgent."

17. Why do you CONTINUE to whine? He GOT HIS WAY.
Yet, still, you whine. Do you always rehash old shit, EVEN when your player gets his own way?

As if it's indicative of anything other than your inability to stay current?

Why are you mired in that? He GOT his WAY. He GOT his At Large sites.

I can only surmise that this is your way of dealing with the fact that your candidate's organization was only able to provide him with a second place finish in the caucus.

I really don't care about your angst. I really don't care about your earnest exhortations about "the mean Clintons." You sound like a two year old, angered that a playmate has stolen your blanky.

The smart supporter moves on to the next contest, and certainly doesn't angrily rehash the points where their favored candidate actually prevailed--like the situation with those At Large sites.

I guess we'll have to toss Senator Clinton on the trash heap with RFK--that other 'Carpetbagger Senator from NY.' That little excerpt was a stupid rant, too, apropos of nothing save angry, bitter bias.

Really, what's that term they use? Call a Whaaambulance? Grow up, certainly. You're not acquitting yourself very well.

you get the endorsement of the biggest union and then its members vote en mass for the opposition candidate. Couldnt be funnier if you tried.

30. Caucus wins are all about organization and hard work on the ground.
Hard work on the ground made that happen...!

Hard work in the hispanic communities especially--and that union is what, forty percent hispanic?

Si, se puede, indeed...

33. Got his way? WTF is wrong with you?
Obama was not responsible for at large caucuses. He wanted as many people to vote as possible it wasnt Obamas camp doing the whining about it it was yours and whats fucking hillaryous is that had she got HER WAY she likely would have lost Nevasa in more than just the delegate count.

Jokes on the big dog here.

And talk about grow up your posts get lamer by the minute, You used to be a somewhat sensible poster you seem to be cracking under the stress.

35. What's wrong with YOU?
He WANTED those at large sites and he opposed the lawsuit. He said so, himself. I can find you the quotes, if you insist.

He got his wish--the lawsuit was slapped down.

He plainly listened to his internal pollsters who told him that CWU could actually DELIVER delegates. His organizers rested on their laurels.

He learned that an endorsement does not always equal rank-and-file support.

I'm not 'cracking under the stress.' Where do you get that silly shit? I'm not the one who's frantic about a candidate, and trying to be clever in a desperate way by using words like 'hillaryous' as if that kind of nonsense is clever. If John Edwards can pull off SC, he's stays on my short list. So your insistence about "my camp" is idiotic, too.

I can discuss these issues, because I haven't settled on a candidate--all I know is who I'm not supporting. I know who looks like they're tough in a fight, and who gets petulant and folds under pressure.

Trotting out the SHRILL word!

Another MATURE Obama supporter...

I swear, I am starting to wonder if these so-called 'Obama supporters' are genuine. These sorts of nasty ass posts are hardly reflective of 'the politics of hope.'

I rather doubt he'd welcome people who behaved so childishly towards his opponents on his team. Loose cannons, who aren't helpful, and who makes asses of themselves and by extension, their candidate.

Keep up the good work, though--you're certainly casting your candidate in the worst possible light with this sort of malarky.

Did the guy pull up stakes and crap on his supporters or did he thank them for their hard work?

He seems to be MIA right now.

7. It's eerie...
I checked a few of the MSM pages, and there's no mention of Obama.

It's strange...

I can't imagine that he would have left the state without thanking his
supporters and commenting on the Nevada race.

I'm sure someone will provide some info.

His campaign is "death by a thousand cuts" for me...

or like Chinese water torture - drip drip drip of the small things that one can no longer ignore...

not very presidential IMO...that's why I support Hillary, in spite of all HER faults...

I can only weigh the two on MY scale - and Obama steadily gets lighter and Hillary's steadily gets STRONGER...
