ABC democrats check in here....
I am curious is their any way left to nominate someone other than Clinton...or does she have it wrapped up. This post is NOT for Clinton supporters. (Be nice)

14. Oh yea, I like the NBA a lot. I should mention I enjoy
TBS and WGN as well to watch the Braves and Cubs when my local teams aren't being broadcast.

And I used to like MTV when they actually played music.

Maybe I'm missing something, but isn't he doing well enough to at least get a brokered convention?

9. Polling shows that Clinton is going to sweep Feb. 5th....
Obama will when SC but the media are already discounting it's meaning by tring to hint that he is only getting support because he is black...which means no momentum will be gained. So, unless something dramatic happens in next 2 1/2 weeks... Hillary will sweep Feb 5th with the exception of a few southern states. After that, the party leadership will force both Obama and Edwards out of the race. Edwards needs a HUGE upset in SC to turn the tide for him...

16. That's going to be really sad, then.
It seems that all Clinton's shenanigans will be rewarded.

And we will be treated to months of dredging up all the ugly allegations that may not have been fully put to bed in the 90's. And then watch McCain be inaugurated. After Bloomberg joins the race as an independent and pulls in all the moderates but is beat by the evangelicals, neocons, and merely greedy.

6. I have a question - who among us will vote for HRC is she's the nominee?
The campaign is still young, and Obama definitely still has a chance. But I guess I'm really an ABR - Anybody But Repuke. So even if HRC wins the nomination, I would hold my nose and vote for her.

DEMs may realize they need to carry at least SOME southern states and that she is unlikely to accomplish that.

big-time. Here's the deal. Women are the silent majority of voters

They will continue to come out in droves and take Hillary over the top and on to the WH

It is a beautiful thing

What's the use in wearing union T-shirts when your candidate waxes nostalgic over union busters?

22. So, you WILL be voting GOP in general - DNA records for political protesters
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 09:21 AM by robbedvoter
http://cityroom.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/01/17/bloombergs-plan-tax-cut-dna-tests-and-an-end-to-social-promotion/index.html?hp&scp=5&sq=bloomberg

"A big expansion of DNA testing, Mr. Bloomberg said, will “help keep the innocent out of jail and the guilty off our streets.” The city lobbied the State Legislature two years ago to expand DNA testing to cover all convicted felons and people convicted of certain misdemeanors, but persuading Albany to expand the program to include everyone arrested — even those detained at nonviolent political protests, for example — is likely to encounter opposition from civil liberties groups."

Everyone knows protesting war is a gateway to rape and murder...Good choice!

33. Wait to you get an understanding of Bloomberg's quaint....
... ideas about freedom of speech and freedom of assembly ( they are priveleges, to be withheld or bestowed at the whim of the elected gov't; NOT constitutional *rights* to be respected and protected) as well as what a sane policy toward the middle east would consist of.

Until they canceled Angel. Stayed off NBC since they canceled Star Trek.
True, ABC has Pushing Daisies, but still - not a fan of the network.

28. Hillary does not have it wrapped up, but the media will try to make you believe it.
The pundits WANT a one man race for both parties and will do their best to 'select' one candidate; they did it with Clinton in the summer and are still telling the us she will be the nominee.

You just have to turn it off - the race is far from over.

29. It might be time for everyone to be deciding. AM I supporting
the Dmocrats, or do I wish to hand the GOP another 4years.

If fighting a futile battle, is nore important, that is our
choice. It is pretty evident now that Senator Clinton eventually
wins the nomination.

Both Cnn and Fox have run pieces showing the electorate is divided
along racial lines. This is not good for the nation.

I am an Edwards supporter and experience pain of loss. However
it is getting time to realize that continuosly bashing Hilary
is not a winning formula. The DLC is still here. Obama had
to pass muster with DLC. It may be time to postpone the fight
until after the election.

30. She is so awful to me I may not even care if we have a Repub Pres.
I would vote Hillary over McCain, but I may be able to stomach Romney.

If it is Hillary vs. McCain vs. Bloomberg, I'm going Bloomberg.

The question is, what am I willing to sacrifice in order to get the Clinton's out of my life.
