Poll question: What would be the greatest unifying ingredient for the Republicans to unite in 2008?
What is the most important situation they need to finally unite and mobilize their party?

1. They'd do themselves a favor if they chose to run a human being for the White House.
There doesn't appear to be one in their field currently.

5. Hi, zulchzulu. I voted for the unifying candidate choice, but I'm at a loss
as to who that might be.

John Danforth seems to me to be unelectable in a GOP primary race, but he's the closest I can think of to a unifying figure. He'd attract a majority of "moderate" Repubs, would be more effective than Dole or McCain or Romney, and wouldn't completely repel the fundies.
