Or was that O'Reilly? In any case, I wonder if they'll bother to read this:

http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5ifwjT2HJUit0WUliuJjPc_YQvgpQD8U93NGO0

Why Does Johnny Come Marching Homeless?

(snip)

This is not a new story in America: A young veteran back from war whose struggle to rejoin society has failed, at least for the moment, fighting demons and left homeless.

But it is happening to a new generation. As the war in Afghanistan plods on in its seventh year, and the war in Iraq in its fifth, a new cadre of homeless veterans is taking shape.

And with it come the questions: How is it that a nation that became so familiar with the archetypal homeless, combat-addled Vietnam veteran is now watching as more homeless veterans turn up from new wars?

What lessons have we not learned? Who is failing these people? Or is homelessness an unavoidable byproduct of war, of young men and women who devote themselves to serving their country and then see things no man or woman should?

4. pretty close, he's always saying some really nasty things about him, i think he also called him a
coward. I think really what it's based is Edwards not going on his show, anyone that tells bill-o they won't go on his show gets the "We here at the Factor" traatment. I don't if you've read "Lies and the lying liars who tell them" by Al Franken but it is the book on O'Reilly plus it's hella funny.

6. I guess he said that about Obama, too.
"They're cowards! They won't come on my show and face my tough questions!" Maybe they won't come on his show because he's an insignificant asshat.

Yes, I've read Franken's book -- it's great!

8. i try not to watch him but when Olbermann goes on break i'll flip over to O'Reilly
for his "Who's persecuting me now!!" segment and i notice he has a major hard on for Edward's, i'm not sure where he is on Obama but i think it's pretty clear Billo hates all dems except for maybe the ones that work for Faux.

10. Good points.
The media runs what "sells," and people don't want to think about the consequences of the Iraq disaster, or the fact that it continues every day. It's more pleasant to pretend it isn't happening.
