3. I don't give a damn what the polls say, I'm staying with Edwards
and I'll write him in if need be. What kind of progressives are we if we support the same old crap and the same old rhetoric? Edwards is about the defeat of corporatocracy in this country, to believe anyone else is going to bring us there is complete idiocracy. The corporatists have already bought their frontrunner(s).

God bless those of us who realize this is our country and our very livelihoods are at stake. I'm just one of the many disappearing middle class, soon we'll all be relocating thanks to NAFTA, lol, and the idiots who think if we can keep supporting the status quo, somehow we are going to change things? Wake up!

Seems to me the brightest thing any of the so called frontrunners could do is to try and get Edwards on their team, but they won't and that speaks volumes. Go ahead and believe in fairy tales if it brings a tear to your eye, and keep smiling proudly as women and people of color yet once again have their rights stripped from them. And they ask for it every time.

I'll be with Edwards until this race is finished. This is my life. I'm not giving it away to the sell-outs.

10. You've verbalized my thoughts very well!
I'll write him in, if I can (dunno how it's set up here for write-ins) or just not vote, or even vote for the RW, so the collapse will come sooner.

The froggie is boiling waaaay too slowly....

22. Who pays for the polls? The news media
Polls this year don't mean a thing, that's already abundantly evident.

17. I was at the rally in Atlanta yesterday and.....
was very impressed with Edward's speech. He is actually taking his message to the working class, by appearing at union halls. The other candidates may have union endorsements but the members do not always agree and vote for who they endorse. I saw many there from different unions and they all supported Edwards and his message. I will continue to support him and vote for him on Super Tuesday. The working class has always been the supporters of the least among us. If we continue on this downward slide till we all become the working poor than we will have taken a giant leap back-wards to the 1930's. The corporations will have achieved their goal of a true two class society. Every right(eight hour work day, 40 hour work week, safety laws in the work place, child labor laws, equal pay etc.) we have won because of unions will slowly disappear and we will have to start the fight all over again.

19. Rank and file understand his message
apparently more than their leaders do. So far, union leaders support of DC Dems hasn't gotten them a great deal.

21. Our rights are slowly eroding as it is, thanks to Reagan
and nobody seems to notice. It's like the analogy of the frog dropped in boiling water will jump right out, but if you drop him in cool water and turn up the heat, he won't notice how bad it is until it is too late.

I think the working class relate to John Edwards message because they are feeling the heat already. We can't wait another four years. We need John Edwards now.

23. You obviously don't know Georgia politics all that well.....
Roy Barnes is a complete idiot whose sorry assed excuse for a governorship helped to seat the first Republican Legislature & Governor in like a 100 years.

Lt Governor Mark Taylor was a coke head and it always amazed me that no one of any substance ever challenged him....because it wouldn't take much. He helped Barnes in the Republican takeover.

27. Well I'm new to Georgia and I can't say I know much about ....
either of them but I sure don't like Sonny or his Sonny do list. When I first moved here I was astonished that the police were allowed to moonlight and take second jobs. Both officers that were murdered recently were working second jobs. It was at Edwards rally that I found out the reason for this......sub-standard wages. Maybe it's time to work together and take it back. If you have any ideas let me know.

24. It is all about the issues
And I like how Edwards has addressed them. I have no choice but to continue to support the candidate who best represents my interests and priorities and my moral values. We need to be moving poor people into the middle class, not pushing middle class people into the ranks of the impoverished. When that is not happening during a period of economic expansion, then something is seriously wrong. I believe Edwards has the correct diagnosis and knows what to do about it. I have nothing against either Clinton or Obama. Clearly, either one would represent a giant leap forward relative to the misdeeds of the current administration.

But we can and must do better than they propose, and I am not ready to let go of it yet. I'm sticking with Edwards.
