The Dem primary IS the election
The Republicans are screwed. On any given day there are many more Democrats than Republicans the problem has always been getting them to vote (and of late getting enough voting machines at Democratic leaning precincts). This time the Democrats of VERY MOTIVATED TO VOTE!

This time whoever is the nominee will be the President.

If you support a candidate donate $5.00. If you want a suggestion

(Obama is my choice)

But support you candidate and get into the mix. Because for all the finger wagging the cross talk and baiting is DEMOCRACY in action.

1. Don't count them out
There is a certain segment of the population that will not vote for a woman or a black man period. Add to that the usual GOP voter fraud and it will be a closer race than you imagine.

5. That's what ticks me off the most
It's the "people" that should be making the choice, not the party. The party is getting as bad as the republicans, and that's not good. We need new leadership from the whitehouse on down to the party leaders. We get some good people in office, they go to D.C. and they have a choice. Side with the party, or forget about getting any help to get re-elected, and that's just wrong! We need to replace some of the "establishment" dems with new blood that will stand their ground and take the congress back for the people, and stop all the "corrupt" poltics that goes on in D.C.

I think we start with putting Edwards in office and then work our way down! :woohoo:

7. I second that
He is addressing the issues not the spin.
Edwards is not out of the running until the convention. We have 50 states voting not five.

6. You really think that McCain couldn't beat Clinton or Romney couldn't beat Obama?

8. Republicans aren't screwed so long as we don't realize Edwards
is the only one who can deliver a win, and a win for a return to the most important voice, we, the people...that is if this is still a democracy. I have serious doubts. We have absolutely no assurance of our vote or the election process.

Save your money, you may need it real soon...

9. No it isn't
When the primary is over, you can watch the money switch from Dem candidate to GOP. The rest will be up to Dems to overcome. Get ready for it.

10. Rubbish - Some May See McCain as the Anti Bush
Sorry - but look at the match up polls when McCain is up against Clinton. He wins almost every time - and like Obama - attracts Independents.

I hate to say it but if Hillary and McCain are the two party nominees then we will have a Republican president for the next four years. He is well respected - she is disliked by huge sections of the population (and the way things are going she is losing the Black vote as well!)

12. Don't get overconfident, pride comes before a fall, we could definitely still lose in 08
We could still lose in 2008, such as if we have a Hillary versus McCain match up, the GOP would be motivated to come out to vote against Hillary, and the independents would probably be more attracted to McCain then Hillary.
