The Clintons are inevitable in their quest to return to the White House.....
Edited on Sun Jan-20-08 06:02 PM by FrenchieCat
and they shall, when they come to attend to some pressing business shortly after the Inauguration of President Barack Obama.

TIMES--Now is the time
WH press Release From Communications Director, Bill Moyers.

The Former President and his Wife, the current Senator of New York, Mrs. Clinton will dine with the Pres. Obama, First Lady Michelle Obama, and other Obama cabinet officials. They will discuss several Foreign policy issues, including the issue of not allowing Darfur to turn into another Rwanda, the largest mistake that Former President Clinton has admitted to. They will discuss President Obama's idea of sending Mr. Clinton to give a speech at the United Nation in where Clinton will recall how he allowed 800,000 Rwandans to be macheted to death while he did nothing, being too worried as to what the political implications would be. It is reported that Clinton's speech titled "Never Again", co-written with President Obama, who feels strongly about the issue, believes that his explicit message would best be presented by Bill Clinton, since he has repented. The Clinton speech will be focused on the Darfur issue solely and will last approximately 30 minutes.

It is also reported that Vice President Wes Clark will join them for dinner. Vice President Clark will formally present the plan to stop genocide in Darfur to Bill Clinton to take to the U.N. with him. This plan is said to be very similar to the one that Clark had drawn up for Bill Clinton back in 1994, that was ignored. The dinner will be televised on C-Span.

Shortly thereafter, President Obama plans to address the Nation a few days after the dinner to present them with the reasons why Darfur is important to the country, and how doing nothing about what is going on there is making us less safe in the realm of human rights and social justice.

He will outline a Marshall-like plan that he will present to the Sudan President at another televised round table discussion, scheduled to be held shortly after Emissary Bill Clinton has presented the United States' Darfur vision to the U.N., and will include Presidents and Prime Ministers of other influential countries.

President Obama during these televised round table discussions, will forcefully request all voters to contact their Congressional Representatives (those who have voiced opposition to Pres. Obama's plan) and insist that they stand with the President in this endeavor. He will request that this nation's citizens to go to the White House Website and access the Email feature to send their letters. He believes that this is the only pressure that congressional members understand clearly enough to allow the end of Genocide in Darfur.

Meantime, Iraq troop pull out continues at a rapid rate, as was outlined by President Obama in his Inauguration address.

Mrs. Clinton's done better? Cause I don't see it. I only see her saying that she "done" stuff, and so, she seems to be the one that all talk.

8. Bill Clinton has now made the race Bill vs Barack. It will be the contest from now on.
Hillary has abdicated her campaign to Bill. Barack is now going to go after the man in the shadows. Bill can't have it both ways he is about to learn.

10. Rubbish

He lost his cool today. Barack is incensed that Bill is making a big difference.

Bill Clinton has swatted flies like him before. He's a Big Beast, and the arrogance of a 3 yr junior senator attacking a 8 yr Democratic Pres is astounding.

11. But as you know, President Clinton will do all that he can to help President Obama.....
As that is what Former Presidents do.

14. Sexist MUCH???
What an insulting remark. You can't bear to think a woman is running so you've mentally replaced her with a man?

Vile.

25. Me too. I used to make it a rule to listen to opposing voice.....
but that was only when they might have made some sense, use some shred of rationality.

But lately, what I have seen in a lot of cases are posters with absolutely nothing to say, and using either one word drive bys or those that would go off on some incoherent rant again, about nothing. So I made the decision to simplify my world, by not having to read posts talking about absolutely nothing. I told myself, Why waste time dealing with fools? :)

26. Prescisely...
2004 was a reasoned love fest compared to this..such a coincidence that hilary-bill are taking the filthy route and the surrogates are in lockstep. It's almost incredible until you really look back in their history and then you might see it coming.

24. Oooh, here's someone!
I'm still teetering on this one and my power to render them invisible.

If I don't see more than one word nothings, it might be just as well that the word that I can see from now on is "ignored".
