Is power really necessary?

Why hasn't he led day and night campaigns to end the the war? That could be in his power.

He's good buddies with Oprah, why hasn't he enlisted her in using her show to speak out on the war to end it? (instead of giving away crap to her audience members)

Has he organized marches in the streets?
