3. Yes, he did, here's the video.
http://talkingpointsmemo.com/news/2008/01/clinton_gets_sleepy_at_mlk_day.php

He wakes himself up a few times and pretends like he's cupping his ear to hear MLK III.

21. Because MLK III was loud, and the same hand was used as Bill's pillow.
Ever been caught sleeping in class? I've seen it happen. The first instinct is to pretend like you haven't been sleeping and disrespecting the speaker.

4. Yup. The old guy nodded off. Hopefully the national Obamazoids will
try to make something of it, which will only help Hillary's numbers.

There's not much high faluting discourse happening on this board of late. In case you didn't notice already!

Oh yeah.

"The Clintons".

Right on the heels of Hillary disrespecting the man's father, no less.

24. Well that "old and tired statesman" wasn't old, tired or statesmanlike...
When he went for Obama's throat the past couple of weeks, particularly in Nevada.

Yeah, we'll just see how constantly injecting himself into Hillary's campaign helps your candidate.

So far it isn't doing much for her.

about LBJ/MLK a few weeks back. I was careful not to include the Obamatons of DU.

7. I don't think it's sad
it's funny, more than anything.

I fell asleep in a college philosophy class once. That was funny.

I also fell asleep briefly behind the wheel of my car driving from Maryland to New York.

That was not funny.

25. yeah, I was in college
and I drove from Long Island to Maryland and back again in like a 8-hour period.

Four hours down, spent like an hour in Maryland, then drove straight back. By the time I got home it was like, 3:00 A.M.

While I was driving back I kept nodding off. I woke up each time when I hit those little rivveted things on the side of the highway. Luckily I was in the left lane and drifting left and not drifting right or else I'd probably be dead now.

Hell, he's an older man who has had heart surgery.

I think he's doing well to keep on keeping on, myself.

Are you trying to say "How sad" when you say "How said. etc."?

I wouldn't feel sorry for him. He'll keep going, he has that gift.
