Geez, when in this day and age people routinely can live to their mid-90's and beyond, I say if I was 40 and somebody considered me YOUNG, I would be flattered.

People need to lighten up.

6. 40? A mere child. At 40, folks still haven't spent the majority of their lives as an adult.

19. Corvettes are wasted on the young. Half your age plus 7 is the lower limit for boyfriends
Edited on Mon Jan-21-08 09:13 PM by TahitiNut
... or girlfriends. That's a "natural" law. That means I'm only supposed to be available to someone between 39 and 114 years of age.

 So ... I'm looking for a 114-year-old woman with a Corvette.

10. People seem more youthful nowadays.......
I think it's time to chuck out the old notions of what people can be at certain milestones in their lives.

I'm 39 and I feel a lot wiser about a lot of things in life, but thing is, I've only REALLY started living.

22. context
When given as a compliment, there's nothing wrong with it.

As a dismissal said about a guy that is past the mid life point, it is lame, correctly understood to be unfriendly, and factually challenged.

Edwards is often awkward with his attacks, for whatever reason.
