This Obama Supporter Tips His Hat to John Edwards Tonight.
He may not be my candidate, but I can not help but believe that he won a lot of voters over to his cause tonight. And I hope he ignores the idiotic Nevada caucuses. Here's to John! :toast:

He missed more votes in the Senate than he criticized Obama over. His health plan puts the mandates in AFTER all the other aspects are implemented for the same reason as Obama, so people aren't hurt before all the details are worked out. He's made a lot of good points, but he hasn't been frank on every issue either.

18. I'm happy to see you saw it that way, too.
John will really draw a lot of voter who were undecided. I don't think he made much inroads into Obama's support in South Carolina and maybe some into Hillary there, but Edwards did play to a national audience. He and Obama both looked like they were having a good time in spite of the heat. I think Hillary could have been a little more "friendly" than she was. But tonight was clearly a good night for John & Elizabeth there in the Carolinas.

He's certainly my second choice now.

17. I am truly thrilled to see John simply shine tonight.
The Nevada caucuses were a disgrace and they should be told to have a real primary next time. John was simply terrific tonight and I'm an Obama supporter. mzmolly, you can be very proud. John just won a lot of undecided voters over tonight. He will do very well now in the South Carolina primary.

26. thanks too. I want to vote Edwards Feb 5. I would switch to Obama if he rises some in
the poles out here before Feb 5 and I think he will.(ie He can beat Hillary) I really hate this situation.

I really hope he won a lot of voters over. I can't say I really LIKED his attacks on Obama, but other than that, he was great. Good luck, John!

27. B.S. John Edwards has it easy. Anyone can look good by being the
"can't we all just get back to the issues" when the 2 other folks are lambasting each other guy. I admit he was well spoken, but it was no amazing feet. If anything he was just being an opportunist. JRE has been a corporatist and a DLC'er through and through. His current rhetoric of desparation (out-liberal the black guy and the woman in the D primary process) does not match his record. I'd say he will take nearly any slant to make himself look good.

Although a couple of things that he said, I would dispute as being "factual".
