This Debate talks about folks who Marched for Dr. King & Women's Rights but not Today's Activists!

Dem Activists and Helpers who tried to stop this war, who marched before it began, Cindy Sheehan who lived in a Ditch to Confront George Bush over her Son's Death in this Illegal war and who gave up years of her life to go around the Country Fighting for Peace and an end to Bush's Policies. About Voting Rights they talked about Dr. King but NOT about Rep. Conyer's Basement Hearings forced by Election Reform Activists working TODAY for the Disenfranched Voters..(African Americans thrown off voting rolls in Florida and Across America and DRE Machines who disenfranchise the REST OF US).

They spent their time talking about DEMS in the PAST and not the VERY DEMS who have worked their BUTTS OFF FOR 7 LONG YEARS to get the Bush/Cheney Crimes EXPOSED AND THEM HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR WHAT THEY"VE DONE!

I felt I was looking at candidates running in 1992. They are NOT ackowledging how hard we've worked to get Congress & Senate Back. That we tried to stop this war and those folks holding candles in War Protest Vigils Across America along with the Millions who have gone to the Major Demonstrations across America EVERY YEAR BEFORE AND SINCE this War Began.

What about New Orleans? People still living in FEMA Trailers and Fire Stations and Police Departments have STILL NOT been REBUILT (Report on CNN TODAY showing the Insurance Checks are there...but NO's Officials want to make sure the "rebuilding is done correctly." How long does it take to rebuild one of America's oldest cities?

I felt that they didn't talk about the Dem Activists...even Obama who talks about change coming "from the bottom up" ...well what ABOUT US OUT HERE? All these years petitioning our congress, Code Pink and Veterans for Peace, Homeless Vets and the NO's Disenfranchised. No matter what we do...when we go in the streets and show up in Congress...there are arrests in worst case scenarios and Media Black Out for the Peaceful activities.

What about ALL THE POOR in America? What about the Downsizing and Offshoring and Trade Policies that allowed it...What about SEC Deregulation that has allowed two BUBBLES that have harmed the American People and suckered them into constant Credit Card Debt...because the Good Times were there...you just had to "charge a little more" to become an "entreprenuer, Dot Com Wonder, Stock Market Trader, or House Flipper...to make your millions? What will be done about this? Who will be held accountable?

I felt really bad after this Debate. I felt they didn't focus on those who follow in Dr. King's Footsteps...they just wanted to focus on the PAST. And I thought Obama was supposed to be the Candidate of the Future! He didn't seem any different in rhetoric than the other two.
