4. My mom has actually likened him to RFK...
I am too young to be able to make a true comparison (only 28) but I get the same chills and feeling of hope from hearing Edwards speak as I do/think people did when I see clips of JFK and RFK...I've always been interested in, but not so much involved in politics. Now I am so passionate about Edwards as my candidate that I am more involved than I would have ever imagined I'd be...all of my non-political friends think that I am crazy...I think they're crazy for not caring what's going on...

5. i've been waiting for a jfk in my lifetime and i'm still waiting sorry edwards
is not jfk...Bill was a lot closer...he came during a time when republicans controlled the us for 12 consecutive years and i will always remember when he appointed his cabinet he had african-americans, an asian, hispanics and women in his cabinet that was such a change from what i saw growing-up. i know bill is not that popular with du but in the early 90's he was an inspiration.

15. I find it quite funny when the Obamites claim he
is like JFK or RFK.

Channeling Lloyd Bentson: Obama "is no JFK" or RFK for that matter!

That distinction belongs to EDWARDS, a FIGHTER!

16. I think it's totally absurd when anyone compares
either Edwards or Obama to JFK, RFK or FDR- except for Ted Sorenson, he gets a pass.

And I don't see threads by Obama supporters comparing him to JFK. On the other hand, not a day goes by when Edwardians don't compare him to JFK or FDR. Quite funny really.

21. i think Ethel can be given a pass also

"I think he feels it. He feels it just like Bobby did," Ethel Kennedy said, comparing her late husband's quest for social justice to Obama's. "He has the passion in his heart. He's not selling you. It's just him." Ethel Kennedy invited Obama to deliver the keynote address at a ceremony commemorating the 80th birthday of Robert F. Kennedy. She said she had carefully followed the career of the Illinois senator, whom she referred to as "our next president."
