UPDATE: I stand corrected. She was "not present" because Bill was having his surgery. Sorry folks.

As several other posters have noted, it was a day that Bill Clinton had heart surgery. She issued a press release against the bill, but was not there to vote "present" as the OP said.

22. One of the worst pieces of legislation under the Bush regency, and that's saying a lot.
No excuse to not oppose it, and that's no comment on whether she did so or not.

Anyone letting that piece of crap go through without actively opposing it doesn't get my vote.
