Hillary's campaign made its worst mistake of the cycle tonight
The spin is that she was playing to a national audience.

The only think that has brought Hillary back from the brink is her softer, more "human" side that she's been showing since NH. She completely reverted (or evolved as she likes to say tonight) and people are going to remember all of the stereotypes that they have of her.

It was an immensely stupid idea to stop using what had been working for her. No tears in the world can get back what she ruined tonight.

14. IMHO She looked presidential, informed, smart, savvy, funny
and handled each and every question with aplomb. I still don't know who will get my vote but these silly, inane postings about the OP's "Most Hated Person" is getting old. How about judging them on their whole body of answers and not cherry pick this answer or another to go on and on about?

They all did fine tonight. They all looked fine. They all have fine spouses. Anyone of them would be ten times better than anyone the repugs end up throwing at us. Again, IMHO, Edwards came off a winner and Obama came off as not as informed on most subjects. He continues to give the "Cliff Note" version of most answers without the depth or breath we are going to need to get ourselves out of eight years of Chucklenuts and The Cabal.

22. No, I think it's right that Hillary helped sink herself tonight.
One does not need to be an Obama groupie to see that. Personally, of the three, I support Edwards.

12. Quite literally. I was concerned for a while there that it might go on her...
...before the end of the debate.

And the flashing eyes...also not good. The camera really focused in on those a couple of times.

Yet she keeps on winning. I know Hillary is going to win, whenever you make a topic about how she can NEVER RECOVER from this HORRIBLE MISTAKE.

15. fighting back and having passion to do it is an asset especially
with what happened to kerry (swiftboat) during the 04 election...she fights when she has to and is compassionate during moments when she is interacting with people on the stump. she is a great candidate.

17. Edwards handed Obama his ass on a silver platter..
Obama really got stung tonight..you can't be arrogant and ignorant at the same time. Edwards nailed him to the barn door. Obama is easy pickings. He'll NEVER hold up for the Republican attack machine.

25. Hillary was outstanding, strong, articulate, decisive, good record, too
compared to Obama, who struggled to compose answers

he basically folded tonight

but his statements about Reagan already did him in

the Reagan era of neo-liberal, trickle-down economics, union- busting, etc....was despicable, and severely damaged the US

for Obama to have said what he did is utterly outrageous

she isn't starting with a blank slate like Obama. She did not do herself any favors tonight, IMO.

30. Hillary went way overboard last night.
HILLARY CLINTON: Well, you know, Senator Obama, it is very difficult having a straight-up debate with you, because you NEVER take responsibility for any vote, and that has been a pattern.
