The all flubbed the last question....
In response to the question about "if MLK were alive today why would he endorse you" question, I was waiting for any of them to say that they instead would have endorsed MLK for president. It would have been a nice way to end the debate and they all missed chance. Ohh well.

1. That would have been a great answer!
Except that, like Al Gore, he probably wouldn't have taken the job.

2. There was no standout answer.
Obama's was interesting when he said that MLK wouldn't endorse. Hillary jumped on the same dumb comment that MLK didn't get anything done on his own.

3. i was upset Obama didn't go last
because Edwards fell into the trap of listing reasons why. Obama was smart and said he wouldn't endorse any of them, instead he'd hold them accountable to the people. Hillary said 'shit, that's a good answer' and basically parroted his line.

I would have liked to have seen Hillary's answer had Obama not given his before her.

4. Hillary is a master of immediately parroting any effective argument by Obama. Whenever
Obama gives a strong answer that might resonate with the audience, Hillary won't wait half a second to jump in and express the exact same thoughts. She intentionally steps on his best lines. I was hoping that Blitzer would go to Hillary after Edwards so she couldn't do this yet one more time.

5. Obama nailed it.
He could have got it sooo wrong by proclaiming why MLK would have endorsed him (too self serving). Instead he honored MLK and put into perspective the people's role, which is to build the pressure to pass legislation, and to hold our politicians accountable to execute the people's will.
