Will Ron Paul benefit as a candidate with today's stock market fluctuations? And the
Federal Reserve's actions? Should the USA return to the gold standard?
Will he begin receiving more votes in the primaries than Guiliani or Fred Thompson?

1. Are you being sarcastic?
He's the least informed of all of their candidates on finance.

It's a sad joke hearing him talk about it.

8. Yes. The clue was the comment about Guiliani and Thompson. He has
all ready received more votes than them in some primaries.
Otherwise, I was being a shit disturber.

2. Ummmm...No.
Ron Paul is full of shit. I don't even have to dignify his positions with a response.

10. It really shouldn't since that isn't happening.
Everyone is looking for the next Great Depression, but it's not going to happen. Sorry folks.

12. If you watch it, it goes into a lot of what Ron Paul is saying.
And he looks prescient.

14. I know the situation forwards and backwards. I know Ron Paul's stances forwards
and backwards. He has a few points, but entirely the wrong conclusions.

3. Will he sucker more lemmings into his insanity?
Of course. Simple people are prone to panicking.

6. Nothing simple about Ron Paul
He's by far the most well read and intellectual candidate on the Republican side. One thing the guy knows is economics.

11. ...
I just started here, and I dont really want to get into a debate where Im defending a Republican, because I'll probably be kicked off.

But have you read any of his writings about economics? I think the guy is absolutely correct in calling for abolishing the federal reserve and returning to the gold standard. We have a currency crisis and he's the only person that seems to address the root of the problem. Please show me what is crazy about returning to sound money and banning the unconstitutional federal reserve.

13. Sure, he makes some good points...
but even a broken watch is right... you know the rest.

Talk to some finance guys. Ask some economists. They'll tell you. The guy's clueless despite his managing to get one or two things right once in a while.

Or hell, listen to him talk. He blames symptoms for the causes. It's hilarious, really. Sort of sad, but more hilarious, due to his style.
