Has Obama been fully vetted?
Isn't anyone concerned about his dealings with the Chicago Slum lord and the property he was able to buy a couple hundred thousand below market level?

1. Edwards has not been fully vetted.....
Wait till folks find out he co-sponsored the IWR and has no money to compete with the Republican nominee.

Wait for the voted for it before he voted against it commercials on national tv start to play.

12. Actually, not......
the voting public doesn't know this.

But they will, when the time is right.

14. LOL! I think the public knows about the disparity in funds as that is the ONLY topic the MSM will
talk about when it comes to Edwards.

On the IWR -- you *do* realize that was in 2003 and he ran for President and then VP on the Kerry ticket in 2004 -- right?

35. WOW
that poster is really showing they hold no cards in their deck with that reply! Edwards was the VP candidate in 04, I guess maybe they weren't interested in politics then or they were underage. I agree with you, those two issues most people who vote in primaries know already. Now GE voters, they may not know that, but they don't pay attention anyways, they just vote on appearance and how the candidate makes them 'feel'. Edwards would do good with those types anyhow.

Obama's Relationship With Alleged Fixer

By MIKE ROBINSON
Associated Press Writer

CHICAGO (AP) - Real estate developer and fast-food magnate Antoin "Tony" Rezko spent years pouring thousands of dollars in campaign contributions into Barack Obama's climb from the Illinois legislature to Capitol Hill—and helped him raise tens of thousands more.

But these days Rezko is snared in a nasty political scandal and facing a federal corruption trial that begins next month. Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton invoked his name and his "slum landlord business" in a debate with Obama on Monday. A plainly embarrassed Obama has been sending the campaign money to charity in an effort to distance himself from the Chicago businessman, including $41,000 over the weekend.

The Democratic presidential hopeful has also been forced to explain how Rezko got tangled in the purchase of the Obama family home and other ties to Rezko—some of them going back more than 15 years. If federal prosecutors are right, his ties to Rezko may even mean Obama's campaign unwittingly accepted money generated by illegal activities.

8. That's not true
I don't think the investigation is anywhere near complete. The fact that Obama lied about his nearly lifelong association with Rezko last night in the debate, claiming he only did "5 hours of legal work" for him makes me think he is hiding something.

Have plenty of ice handy.

Ps -- Obama makes the first reference to John's dad working in the mill. Don't want you to get behind before it gets cranking.

Rezko is under federal investigation. Obama ties to Resko are questionable.

13. No, but the Republicans will attend to that if Obama gets the
nomination. Hillary has been so thoroughly vetted that anything they say about her would be boring ancient history. As for Edwards, hair/house/hedge fund wears a bit thin after a while.

20. Who vetted Bill Clinton when he ran?
They didn't do a good job. Look at all the scandals that played out and continue to surface.

Obama comes clean, but Hillary's sleaze machine thrives

Let's move on from the Clinton presidency and not look back

Enough with Bill's nit-picking.

21. I'm not too concerned with this. It is not that important...but...
...but Obama has yet to be tested. He has been vetted. Even Hillary has said he is a decent and honorable man and for me to back her and disagree on such a fundamental question (Obama's honor and credibility) I'd have to be a moron.

I never will understand those who say they back Obama's message of change in politics who use every old slimmy move against Hillary.

Don't get me wrong, I l;ove rough and tumble politics...I just don't understand stupid people. Never did,

24. With the "slum lord" going on trial in late february and obama is
the "unknown" politician in the indictement this could cause a lot of heartburn and headaches for obama. HRC did good last night to bring this to the fore and exactly what bill c. was talking about when he said the media has not looked into the background of obama and used the term "fairy tale" not directed at obama but the lazy ass media....maybe now the media will go back and take a look a real look at obama......

25. I agree, but there is no need to get as weird as the Hillary haters. Democrats are better than that.
Well most of us are anyway. It is a primary. ALL the candidates are Democrats and they will all support the nominee.

Obama, is not all that bad. Hillary says she could back him. She thinks and I agree, that she would make a better President than he.
