Poll question: At this point, are you happy with this field of candidates?
Without getting into who you're for or why, I'm just wondering if you are truly satisfied with the current field of Clinton, Edwards and Obama.

1. I wish they could all serve in the next Administration
Along with Kucinich, Richardson, Gravel and Biden.

Each has unique strengths, I think.

2. It is a harrowing
thing to have only few and then one and then none in a nation of 300,000,000 semi-educated humans with the silliest bars raised mindlessly and discarded at a whim. This field should have included Gore, Clark and countless others whose names get mentioned with admiration for their qualities of leadership, idealism and talent. I am satisfied we have something of worth in this field but the system is winnowing out choice before the majority of voters even gets a glimpse. We have had better and worse in the past. Gore only ran against Bradley and carter against Kennedy because of incumbency, the harshest bane of choice. The greatest bane is money itself and the second is a wall of fog and delusion and ignorance no single voice can pierce even with money.

WE are the field and out of that field we admire two or three flowers, some small weeds for a brief tiresome, not too fruitful season. I put Edwards first but the whole selection deserves more than the declining choices we have. Even if strong citizens are an "activist" minority it is a slim chance we have been narrowed down to by massive, sick corruption. No matter the rejoicing one has in the slate it remains a too thin line against the darkness unless we step up and make such a reliance IRRELEVANT by OUR strong presence in this election. It is we who are the slate and if the guy who gets to carry our flag cheers you up all the better.

4. No. Our Best Candidates Are Not Running
Hillary, Obama, or Edwards would be way better than what we have now, but that's not saying much.

And they are not all that electable. Edwards might be a little more so than the others, but even he isn't doing well enough in the matchups.

They may be able to beat Mittens, but can they beat the "moderate"™ "maverick"™® McCain? At best it's still close enough for them to steal.
