Time for Al Gore to step up!
He's the only one who can go toe-to-toe with Bill Clinton. He needs to come out and endorse Obama and take on Bill Clinton. He's the only one who can get the same media attention that Bill garners.

1. Edwards is the best on the Environment, then Clinton, then Obama.
I would have a hard time seeing him endorse Obama.

10. I think Gore would have
a hard time with Obama's stance on Nuclear and Liquefied Coal. I saw something somewhere where Gore said he liked Edwards' plan best....need to find it.

2. He NEEDS To Endorse Edwards... Sorry I Disagree... I Don't Think
he wants to jump back in. But as I said in a thread I posted yesterday, even though I truly believe Edwards to be the best we have right now... Maybe in the end he might be thankful if he doesn't get the nod.

Whoever is the next president is going to have ONE HELL OF A MESS to clean up!! And ANY Democrat WILL get ALL the blame for everything that BFEE created!!

And my prediction way back BEFORE The Idiot got himself anointed was that when HE got in... it was down hill from then! And it has been!

5. Edwards was a pro-war cheerleader when Gore was speaking against it.
So I don't see how Gore endorses Edwards.

3. Honestly, I think of Gore as the 'titular head of the Democratic Party'
(I think that's the phrase they use for the reigning post-office but not retired politician, right?)I guess Bill is, because he was Pres last, but I've never thought of him that way.

7. I think Al Gore learned from 04 to KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT,
and I hope he does.

If he did come out and endorse Obama, I would be disappointed in his decision.

9. If Al Gore endorsed Obama, Hillary supporters on DU would absolutely vilify and demonize him.
It serves no purpose for him to do this. He's seen what the Clinton Machine is up to and doubt he sees any reason to stand in front of the steamroller. They'd try to take him down, too, to marginalize his endorsement.

11. He needs to stay the hell out of this mess
No need to sink to Bill Clinton-like levels of nastiness.

12. Al will stay neutral.
He is too smart to get into this mess. He won't repeat what he did in 2004.
