I absolutely respect Claire McKaskill, and Ed Shultz (who I do not like)
said that she, McKaskill, said that Bill Clinton is "shading the truth".

Does her opinion count?

1. I don't respect either.
They have latched onto the right wing talking points about the Clinton's being racists.

Shameless.

4. You know...It's people like you, who are spreading that rumor here on DU.
Why is it I keep seeing HRC supporters post about the injustice of "ombamites" calling the Clinton's racists - when I'm not seeing that. It's like you're trying to provoke an argument?

9. It's not about the Clintons being racists, It's about the Clintons being Liars.

3. I think her opinion counts for a lot, but you could judge by all the
candidates and who has endorsed them. Who do you like and respect? I also love Kerry and think he's one of the smartest, most ethical guys in DC. He also has good taste. :D

6. Obama helped Claire a lot on her campaign last year
Her endorsement is pretty much a no-brainer.

5. Yes, her opinion counts.
I think when you have enough leaders standing up saying, Hey - this isn't right, they're spinning, shading the truth, etc - then it lends credence to it.

7. I live in Missouri and I'll never campaign for her again in fact...
Baby Blount , our Governor has just announced that , at age 37, he's accomplished all he meant to do as Governor and will not run in the fall. Dem. Jay Nixon, crusading ATT. Gen. is wiping the floor with him in the polls, so maybe he just decided to cut and run HOWEVER... Clair is a sitting DUCK and she certainly has failed to bring home the bacon to her constituents soooo, maybe he wants to be Senator Blount?

there has also been some talk of floating him as a Vice presidential nominee! ( Dan Quayle II?)

8. she didn't pork it up to your satisfaction? That's too bad
living in a part of the country that brings much moe than its fair share, I feel for ya.

Fortunately, I don't factor that aspect of a Senator's performance in assessing her trustworthiness.

Look at her "NURSING HOME " record and get back to me. I've inspected some of them and she is culpable in some VERY NASTY situations.

10. I don't respect either.
Especially that buffoon Ed Shultz who is trying so hard to imitate Rush Limbaugh it's hard to tell the difference anymore.

11. Yes.
She won a hotly contested Senate seat for the Dems two years ago. She is a strong woman and a fighter. Her opinion definitely counts!
