I think Senator Clinton has a good shot at being an even better President than her husband
She's smarter, she's less mistake prone, she's tougher and she's far more disciplined.

I also think she's far more ideologically committed to what she believes is right and will be more of a transformational figure than her husband, who often borrowed ideas from political enemies in order to coopt the opposition.

3. I suspect that she also learned a lot during her eight years in the White House.
Already understanding how everything interrelates can't hurt.

6. Can you give some examples of her smartness, mistake free prone-ss, toughness and Discipline
that is "better" than the other candidate.

I can name some reason why she's not:

1. IWR vote - A Colossal "dumb" mistake that shows that she's not very smart.
2. Not reading the NIE - Another Colossal mistake showing that she not that smart nor discipline
3. Bill Clinton Unleashed - Shows she can't control her own campaign.
4. She voted for a bill that she was glad didn't pass- That is not smart from any stretch of the imagination.
5. Voted yes on Kyl-Lieberman Iraq resolution - Keeps making the same "dumb" mistake.
6. 1994 Health Care Reform fiasco. What can I say?

There are soooo many more, but this is enough for me to not vote for her.

Why you think she's so tough? She was filmed crying just the other day, and can't seem to get elected unless she brings her husband with her.

9. I hope you're right. I've backed Bill Clinton strongly for 15 years but his behavior
this campaign is giving me serious second thoughts. The best thing that could happen to Senator Clinton right now would be for Bill to shut up for a little while.

I agree 100% that she would be a more transformational president than her husband. She has the potential to be one of the greats. But then I had the potential to become a distinguished US senator. Life is frequently disappointing....

10. I agree.
My 85 year old aunt said to me the other day - "Don't forget, women can either be liked or they can lead. They can't do both."

I told my aunt that Hillary doesn't give a fiddle if everyone likes her - she just wants to do the right thing and for that reason alone she will have a whole lot of mean folks that hate on her for no good reason.

My aunt thought and then responded - I guess if she doesn't care if she is liked that is a good thing. I guess I should vote for her.

12. Hillary will be a disaster for this country and for the world
She won't close School of the Americas.

She won't restore habeas corpus, close down Guantanamo, and dismantle the police state apparatus that Bush established.

She won't restore the Constitution and the Republic we had before 9-11.

She will bomb Iran if Bush doesn't beat her to the punch.

She will continue the war in Iraq, but spin it as a drawdown of forces.

She will attempt to reestablish American hegemony in Latin America, by force if necessary.

She will continue the failed War on Drugs, Cuban embargo, and the phony Global War on Terror.

She will continue the failed and disastrous American policy of enabling the permanent occupation of Arab lands by Israel, while ignoring the plight of the Palestinian people.

She will use the extraordinary powers that Bush amassed for the Presidency to attack and marginalize those opposed to globalism and imperialism.

26. If she's smarter and more disciplined, why is she putting Bill out there?
If she can't win on her own, I have a problem with your end result. And transformational? Let me know when that happens.

29. Because she's smarter and more disciplined :)
other than the last debate, Bill's taken all the heat for the attacks. She's not putting him out there because she needs her husband to win it for her, she's putting him out there, because it's really, really smart politics to do so.

28. My list...predicting Hillary as President
Hillary is less likely to get in trouble with an intern.
Women leaders don't typically start wars for nothing.
She doesn't have youngsters at home any more that will distract her from the job.
She already knows her way around the White House and will hit the floor running.
She is really, really pissed at the great right wing conspiracy and will enact revenge!
She and Bill have learned how to hack the voting machines so the repubs won't be able to steal the election again (or at least they can steal it back).
Obama and John Edwards would likely make good Supreme Court judges and this is their big chance!
I imagine that Hillary would love to appoint Valerie Plame as Press Secretary, too.
If Bill gets out of line, she can send him to Africa to look for yellow cake.
