1. Are you speaking of the "political" fray?
If so, I think he has proven he is staying above the "fray" unless he is attacked. At that point he would rightfully defend himself.

he was more willing than Kerry to challenge results so I don't think he'd be passive about election issues.

from one someone else started.

I believe he will remain above the fray on personal issues, but will defend his causes.

7. Did you see the SC debate? He does both, in a very *adult* way.
He will fight back on issues.

But when stupid potshots are thrown, he may make a "WTF" face, but he won't get in the mud.
