Kucinich supporters used to OWN the Greatest Page...
...what happened?

I'm not trying to be facetious, but surely someone other than me remembers back to only a few months ago, when the Greatest Page was COVERED with Dennis threads. Some of them were even defensive in the extreme--"How can you even THINK of voting for anyone other than Dennis?!" But most were nothing but positive, "Dennis Kucinich will save our country!" or "I Heart Elizabeth Kucinich!" threads.

I haven't seen very many of these recently. They were replaced by Edwards threads in the same vein (although faintly less rapturous), and then, finally, by virulently anti-Hillary and anti-Obama threads.

How did this come to pass? Is it indicative of a serious shift in both mood and ideology here? Or am I just missing the big picture?

1. Well, some of us try to keep the Edwards stuff up there.
I don't think "anti-" threads should make the Greatest Page, at least not in such numbers.

But that's just me.

4. No, actually it was probably you...
...and not anti-Obama or pro-Hillary/Edwards people, either.

I mean you personally.

5. For me, the turning point was asking his supporters to vote for Obama in Iowa.
That smacked of exactly the kind of political hypocrisy that I thought Kucinich had risen above. That event also seems to coincide with his loss of support on DU (although the two may be completely unrelated.)

6. The Hillary/Obama/Edwards hatefest poo-slinging threads forced
many of us out of here. You rarely get positive Kucinich OPs anymore to GET voted up.

7. Well, the report that he is dropping out
makes that no longer an issue I suppose. I will have to send him some money for his campaign for the house.
