Did the media overplay their hand?
The feud they instigated between Obama and Clinton worked brilliantly: Now both candidates are tarnished and slipping in the polls.

BUT... now the candidate that they worked so hard to ignore (Edwards) is surging in the polls. I don't think they meant for that to happen.

1. Surging in the polls? Edwards?
Only in South Carolina, where I think it should be an embarrassment for his to be battling for second. My God, the man's FROM there.

3. I am not sure that the media needs to prod Bill to get him out there campaigning
aggressively. Some may believe that he would be staying home or out trying to deal with world poverty like Carter, if it were not for the media stoking a fight between Hillary and Obama.

Bill just doesn't seem that uncomfortable to be out campaigning hard for his wife. ;)
