If Rezko Is An Issue . . .
But when the Media and some Left blogs act as if a photo with Rezko is an issue, then fairness dictates that Rezko must be a BIG issue for Obama.

3. Rezko cash triple what Obama says
During his 12 years in politics, Sen. Barack Obama has received nearly three times more campaign cash from indicted businessman Tony Rezko and his associates than he has publicly acknowledged, the Chicago Sun-Times has found.

Obama has collected at least $168,308 from Rezko and his circle. Obama also has taken in an unknown amount of money from people who attended fund-raising events hosted by Rezko since the mid-1990s.

But seven months ago, Obama told the Sun-Times his "best estimate" was that Rezko raised "between $50,000 and $60,000" during Obama's political career.

5. not only did Barack lie
but he lied BADLY. His assertion was disproved within days by simple digging on the part of everyday reporters.

And once America realizes he was not being entirely truthful during the debate -- only 5 hours of work? well, that's not so bad :eyes: --, the sh*t will REALLY start to hit the fan.

Politics of Hope and Change? Time to say bye-bye. :hi:

9. Are you mixing work
representing Rezko as a lawyer (5 hours) as opposed to contributions.

If you listen to the video Hillary accused Obama of representing Rezko.
His reply of 5 hours was honest and accurate.

Rezko has donated to lots of Illinois politicians - that is different from representing them as a lwayer.

Please go to factcheck.org

And how about Bill's $20 million?

10. I think I'm remembering Barack's assertions over the years
that he had nothing to do with Rezko, only accepted "$50,000 to $60,000" in campaign contributions and never did Rezko any favors.

All those statements have been proven false. But CNN has to keep SOMETHING in the can to run for a later date, right?

7. The key word there is "associates." It's difficult to know what's linked and what isn't.
Hillary had similar problems with Hsu.

11. so did Barack ---- Hsu Steered Major Fundraiser to Obama
Campaign Acknowledges Link to Democratic Donor Who Is Now Under Arrest

Before becoming a major bundler for Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's presidential campaign, disgraced Democratic donor Norman Hsu helped host a 2005 California event for Barack Obama's political action committee and introduced the senator from Illinois to one of the biggest fundraisers for his presidential bid.

Federal Election Commission records show that Hsu gave $5,000 to Obama's Hopefund PAC in connection with the fundraiser and that people publicly identified with Hsu and his companies gave an additional $19,500 to the PAC in 2005 and 2006.

Mark Gorenberg, who now sits on Obama's national finance committee and is one of his biggest fundraisers, said Hsu organized an early 2005 event for the Hopefund and invited him to help raise money.

"He introduced me to Barack Obama," Gorenberg said of Hsu. "He was working on an event for Barack's PAC, and he asked me to help, and I did. Barack came up to San Francisco, and introduced him to a bunch of people."
