I'm appalled at the pathetic bickering that's going here. It's as pathetic as the bickering
that is going on within the Dem Primary campaign. Just know that scores of my Indie friends are getting turned off at what is going on. If we keep it up, and continue to turn of the those voters, MCCain will cash in on a good number of those votes and laugh all the way to the bank. And don't think it couldn't happen, just check the latest poll. http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2008/president/national.html

The GE is ours to lose!

1. Well, if Hillary wins
expect the bickering and bad mouthing and distorting and lying to continue, and the Dems will lose.

4. Just throwing it out there, your post i thnk feeds into what...
the OP is trying to fight against. As in, lets try and run a clean campaign again, and give americans something to be proud of, rather than something to shake their heads at.

5. well, i can only speak for myself
but once a nominee is decided, I'll be marching in lockstep behind them. Doesn't mean I'm not going to bicker and argue until that day happens though.

8. How about this, what would you prefer...
a genuine dialogue, with ideas and plans and what not being debated, and your candidate loses...

or what we have now, and your candidate wins?

9. Doesn't DU have a rule about that?
If you flamebait the Democratic nominee in the GE, you get tombstoned and whatnot?

13. i'm not sure
I think you can't openly support the republican nominee, but I'm not sure about rules regarding criticism of the democratic candidate.

10. Hillary wanted it like this. When they finish the write ups
on this election cycle, this will be the general consensus, mark my words.

12. Again, isnt this what the OP is trying to prevent?
Just another bashing thread? Are there any respectful threads about this campaign anymore?

14. I hate that it turned this way and I believe she orchestrated it
If she fought hard but clean, I would not slam her the way I do.

But because she is unfair, I come at her with everything I have and I feel no guilt doing so.

16. Yup. She deliberately decided to use Barack Obama's race
against him.

I find that unacceptable.

They used their surrogates to plant things like the "drug dealer" smear. And then they diminished MLKs contributions so that Obama would defend them and they could turn him into a "Black Candidate".

Makes me want to throw up really.
