TNR report: Multiple sources suggesting crushing Obama victory
Whether this is exit poll based or not, I do not know. If it is, wow.

The TNR is "The New Republic". TNR.com:

Here is their post:

Some Early Whiffs from SC
Please take this with a huge grain of salt--particularly after the experience of New Hampshire--but, for what it's worth, we're getting indications from multiple sources that Obama could be headed for a big win tonight. Well into double digits...

If true, I think tomorrow's headlines will focus on the size of the victory, not the racial composition of it. Worries that an Obama win might somehow pigeon-hole him as the "black candidate" will melt away, and he'll have a decent amount of momentum going forward.

Having lived in SC (Greenville) for a spell, all I can say is "GO OBAMA!" It warms the cockles of my heart to know a VERY RED red state has chosen an African-American for his party's nom for President!:woohoo:

(on edit - I'm an Edwards supporter, but I recognize the impact of an Obama win in SC)

5. Remember the post didn't say
Remember the post didn't say if it was based on exit polls or not but I have to believe that they wouldn't post something based on anecdotal data. Hopefully not.
