Did you know we lost another 28 lives in Iraq this month and who knows how many Iraqis?

5. I watched the vote the other day, and even if they had been there, it wouldn't
have helped because THIRTEEN DEMS VOTED TO TABLE THE BILL! Unbelievable.

It's so close, they ALL have to be there, THEN, they ALL have to vote the "right way".

I don't care if Senator Obama and Senator Clinton are the only two standing in defense of the Constitution .... What I'm awaiting is whether either of them do their day job on Monday ...

8. Yes, I understand.
I was furious with them AND with my candidate, Biden, when they didn't show up to help Dodd before. I was actually more angry/disappointed in Biden because I am so convinced he's a person of conviction.

I think they should have gotten hell for it but it never became an issue (but I let Biden know my thoughts!). If more HAD been made of it -- because after all they all said they'd support Dodd in a filibuster and they should have been there -- maybe that would pressure O and Hillary to come off the campaign trail for this vote, but I'm not holding my breath.

Maybe I'm more cynical now because I don't have a candidate any longer.
