49% of white voters under 29 voted for Obama
I'm so proud of our young people.

They see people, not race, not sexual orientation. I can only see wonderful things for the future of this country.

7. He's younger than Clinton and Edwards, and he projects a youthful appearance
I really think that has a lot to do with it.

6. Those of us who grew up
with a racist parent/s didn't want to be like them.

Now we're seeing the results and I think we have succeeded.

11. What?
You can try all you want, but you can't sully Obama's victory.

And, by the way, Obama got a higher percentage of the white vote than Clinton got of the black vote.

He done good.

13. Your numbers are wrong

Obama won more than 80% of the black vote and about 24% of the white vote. Hillary won 17% of the black vote. Edwards 1% of the black vote.

14. And I see nothing but
republican-lite and continued Corporate rule. Just because his father was African doesn't make him a progressive. And I wonder if this is the first time that these under-29 have even looked at politics.

Sorry to rain on your parade, but those of us who have looked at the issues don't feel very secure about Choice, relieving the single mother's burden, nor that corporate control of this country will be regulated...just to name a few of those issues.

I just don't think our country has the luxury for the younger generation to learn the hard way...
