No clear winner. Lots of buzz.

Now we're off to the races.

1. The media tho GUIDED the voters, by:
Edited on Sat Jan-26-08 08:43 PM by Sarah Ibarruri
1) Leaving Kucinich out of the primaries
2) Refusing to cover Edwards as much as possible, and pretending there were only 2 candidates (the two that took as much rich and corporate money as possible).

That speaks volumes to me.

3. Another sour grapes Edwards supporter
Just face it, this is two straight elections where he couldn't get any traction. Huckabee has very little corporate money and his campaign did a much better job than Edwards.

7. Another thing... I want to believe in Obama....
... but I don't know what he'll do to reverse the damage done by Bush. I know what Edwards would do. I have no idea what Obama and H. Clinton would do.

5. Edwards got tons of coverage in 2006 and early 2007
His coverage dropping followed the fact that he was raising significantly less money and his nationwide numbers were stuck in the mid teens. Edwards did not intend to run with less money - he raised less.

8. No actually, he didn't suck up to corporations like Obama and H. Clinton did.
This is no secret.

9. Obama took no PAC money from corporations
The numbers people post from opensecrets et al are the tallied amounts from people working for those corporations. (ie all AT&T employees put AT&T in the form when they donate - that is the number next to AT&T.

2. I agree that all the buzz is creating record turn out for the primaries
That's a good thing.

I just want ALL the candidates to remember that they will need the supporters of the other candidates in the general election.
