Hey fellow Obama supporters! Congrats to all and let's be nice tonight
I think the momentum toward February 5th is clearly in Barack Obama's favor.

I want to gloat on this amazing victory, but know that February 5th is going to make tonight's victory something where we need to help unify people who may be having second thoughts on their candidate, namely people who want change and support Kucinich or Edwards. Yes, as is evident in some threads here, some people have decided to leave the Clinton camp due to how they ran the campaign in South Carolina.

The people of South Carolina have spoken and it looks like the demographics cover the entire rainbow of society.

On behalf of those who made it a topic that Hillary Clinton didn't concede, I apologize for those people. For those who thought John Edwards didn't concede nicely, my apologies as well.

Let's hope that the message of the South Carolina primary proves that divisive, triangulated politics is not what people want as we move on the the next races.

As Barack Obama said tonight, we should all support each other even though we support other candidates because what we want to really do is roll back the Republican agenda at all costs.

That said, GOBAMA!

I was beginning to think all Obama's supporters were sore WINNERS!

And congrats on Obama's win. I don't support him, but I don't hate him either.

BTW, just a suggestion, take it or leave it. Lose the "Gobama." It sounds cultish.

5. Great post, thanks for saying it.
It's a great win for Obama but we have to realize there's still some big battles to fight.

On to Super Tuesday!

Yes We Can!

6. congrats, zulchzulu
He has quite a road ahead of him and will need a boost of epic, consistent proportions to overcome the present facts about Super Tuesday.

Hillary leads him outside the margin of error in 19 of the 22 States voting. He leads decisively in two (Illinois by double digits and Georgia by seven), but they're basically tied in Idaho with a margin of two separating them.

Yes, that margin has been made up before. But in 19 States? It'll be quite the Herculean effort if he can pull it off.

Again, congrats and enjoy your night. :toast:

8. Good post
Let's all behave as well as we can. We'll need to pull together to defeat the Repubs in the fall. And that won't be easy no matter who our nominee is.
