2. Actually, your figures are out of date.
And no, it has not just begun, anymore than it had just begun for Howard Dean when he lost IA and NH. John Edwards may pick up some delegates, and certainly should stay in the race as long as he wants, but it's over for him. That's just the way it works.

9. There's still plenty of time for Hillary and/or Obama to self-destruct.
It's not like that's never happened before with a front-runner.

Edwards is still strong, still a contender. It's still a three-way race.

30. Cali, Cali, Cali...
Chill. Edwards may not have a chance according to you, but anything can happen. I still think Clinton has something in reserve to go after Obama on, and if those two don't grow up and act like adults, well there a lot of people in this country that may just change their minds about the so called "frontrunners"! Every time the people hear Edwards he seems to surge, who knows what can happen!

Not quite...
Clinton 230
Obama 152
Edwards 61

Although somehow CNN is counting more delegates than the number available in states that have voted so far. I'm not sure how they determine who these superdelegates are supporting.

16. Not out of money.
In the first 25 days of this quarter, campaign has raised more online than the whole 4th quarter - the vast majority of which will be doubled by federal matching funds

Chapel Hill, North Carolina – As a sign of John Edwards' growing grassroots support across the country, today the Edwards campaign announced that it has raised more than $3 million online during the first 25 days of the quarter - more than it raised during the whole 4th quarter of last year. Just yesterday, the campaign had one of its best fundraising days, taking in more than $230,000 in contributions. The vast majority of online contributions will be doubled by federal matching funds.

29. it's not about money

it's about TRUTH and JUSTICE.

edwards is already in as AG in an obama administration - that's the word around the obama camp. should obama triumph but not gain enough delegates, he'd make a fantastic VP choice (with delegates no less).

and if hillary or obama implode somehow - it feels like they're tallying up the dirt they have on each other as i write this - they may damage each other to the point of lampoonery. one of them drops out, and then it's a 1-on-1 debate. if Edwards mops the floor with the survivor, he's the nominee. i don't care if it sounds like a stretch to you - the candidacies of clinton and obama seem very shallow to me. time will tell if obama will live up to his endorsements.

both of the millionaire candidates are SO LUCKY about the writers' strike. there would have been no end to the mockery of Bickerfest SC 2008. leno would have milked it for months. so lucky.
