I think it is a disgrace that Professor Simpson had to take that kind of heat for her endorsement of Hillary.

1. huh? that's just a footnote and represents nothing
Hillary is still the favorite and she still has more going for her than anyone else.

2. Steven Spielberg endorses Hillary also but you would never know it from the MSM
"Democratic US presidential candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton has won the endorsement of film producer and director Steven Spielberg, ending a tug-of-war between Clinton and Senator Barack Obama for the Hollywood heavyweight's affections.

"I've taken the time to familiarize myself with the impressive field of Democratic candidates and am convinced that Hillary Clinton is the most qualified candidate to lead us from her first day in the White House," Spielberg said Wednesday in a statement released by the Clinton campaign.

Spielberg has been a supporter and contributor to Clinton in the past, but his support for her presidential bid was not always certain. In February, he co-hosted a Beverly Hills fundraiser for Obama with his DreamWorks production partners David Geffen and Jeffrey Katzenberg that brought in more than $1.3 million (€980,000). Katzenberg is supporting Obama, as is Geffen, a former Clinton ally turned critic."

I just did a search and there are lots of endorsements out there for Hillary but the MSM is almost silent on all of them. I was amazed and plesantly surprised that there were so many endorsements that I hadn't read or heard about.

4. That's because the MSM endorse Obama!
A very good reason to steer clear in my view.

14. And poor little edwards...
How come all you Obama fans have so few posts...? And are completely unable to see that its not the candidate that matters... but who is "running" them.

15. Well, Hillary has the Haliburton seal of approval...
they need to get another war started as they've just about raped Iraq to death. Why not Iran? Hillary's already given Chimpy the green light. Surely she knows it'll be ongoing after Jan 2009. I wonder how much Haliburton cash has gone to the WJC library ....

3. But ... but ... Obama is the only one being picked on!
It's not fair!

Hillary gets to be the victim but not Obama!

This is just one of Hillary's dirty tricks!!!

6. Hilarious attempt by the RW media watchdog guy in the story to paint Ms Simpson's ...
...unplanned endorsement as proof of the media's 'liberal bias', too.

7. Hillary supporters receive undue scorn
Many keep their support a secret just for this reason.

8. Very true. Such unhinged, unbridled hatred for a fine senator continues to boggle the mind.

10. "fine senator"?
Iman is fine.

Olivia Newton-John is even more fine.

Sorry, I just can't picture Ms. Clinton as fine.

11. WTF???
This woman made a mistake and admits it.

Simpson took her 14-student journalism class, "Road to the White House," to the rally to show students how to cover a political event, and possibly introduce them to the Democratic front-runner.

Instead, Simpson, who is best known as the first woman to moderate a presidential debate, found herself professing her preference for Clinton as the first female president.

She is supposed to be TEACHING JOURNALISM for cripes sake, takes her students to a rally to show them how it should be done, then ENDORSES the candidate?

It might have been different if she had made the endorsement in a different situation - at least it would be a different ethical question - but come on. The only victim here is of a self-inflicted wound.
